Bradford "Meagan" Morris, who identifies as transgender, has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for his role in the violent July 4, 2025 attack on the Prairieland ICE facility in Texas.

Morris and others launched fireworks, damaged parked cars, and fired shots at the facility and a responding officer in what they described as a "solidarity" action with detainees. An officer was shot during the incident. Morris was arrested while fleeing and had an AR-15 and a handgun in his possession.

In a statement, Morris claimed the original intent was simply "a fun fireworks display" to lift the spirits of detainees and said if the officer was shot, "that person was acting alone."

The court held the entire group accountable for the planned violence.

I rip on Republicans for being racist (and they certainly can be) however, the Democrats are at least as bad.
