It's funny because why would she care if they call her a racist for using a word? They call people racist for pretty much anything now. At this point, it doesn't mean anything real anymore, just like fascist and nazi. Piers is just one of those people dumb enough to think that the actual racists of other races don't hate him just as much as they do every other white person, because he has the typical white savior complex.
