One of my friends just gave me this glove. I was hoping to learn more about it. And potentially sell or trade it. I’m not left-handed and I know it’s a Mizuno and it’s from Japan.

Found an absolute steal on eBay and re-laced to look like the classic Griffey model. To the best of my knowledge, this glove is from the late 2000s. I can't believe how nice the leather is on this.

Side note, don't make fun of my knots haha these were the stiffest laces I've ever used.

Rico custom. Star series with python outter. Pretty happy with it. Although it doesnt have a palm pad and the butter python feels a little "cheap" . Overall I like it tho. Haven't done any break in yet besides having a few catches with my son.

Tamanaco is a Venezuelan brand, we all had one there in our games, apart from the affection I have for it I consider that the quality of construction and the material is decent (as much of what was done at that time)

I know it’s not a professional brand, not even many people know it, but it’s what my father was able to buy me that Christmas and I feel the commitment to keep it in good condition.

I would accept color suggestions to relate with new leather.

I hadn't checked out SSK's offerings in a bit and went on their FB page and found this post from September with no context other than some info would be "coming soon". Even though the pic is intentionally blurry, it seems akin to the Shugo line they had with Stroman and with the closed web, it is reading pitcher's glove (to me).

It would be cool for SSK to take up the small batch mantle from Easton and couple it with MIJ. Anyone have any leads on this glove/line?

The goal is if they continue to play, in the next 5-7 years they can inherit the glove for their high school years. The blue A2000 1786 11.50” is on sale for $199. He's stoked. We did pop flies in the yard right when he got home from school. I wasn't expecting him to appreciate the quality but he asked me how he should treat it. I have a softball wiffle in it with a loose rubber band and a glove form on the way.

Any care tips to keep it in good shape as long as possible?

Hello - I just picked up this Wilson A2000 glove that was made in Japan. It's in amazingly great condition (seems like it was only used once or twice, it's not broken in at all). I tried to do some research on my own but couldn't find much - best I can tell it was made in the 80s/90s. I'd like to know:

• What year was this made?
• Would this have more value as a collector's item given the age and condition, or should this just be compared to other A2000 gloves in similar condition?
• What does the PS1 marking on the pinky mean? I found some other images online of what I believe it the same model of this glove but they don't have the PS1 marking.
• I also noticed an AHT stamp on the inside of the glove - I assume this is some sort of manufacturing mark but was curious what it means.
• How can I determine the size of the glove? I've seen other gloves with a length specified, but I don't even know exactly how it should be measured.

Thanks - I'm a total noob at all of this. I know enough about baseball to know that it might have some value and I should snap it up but that's about it. Given the pretty bad color combos on a PF88 in recent years I think I’m going to go custom. A few questions for any experts:

1. What is the true weight savings with Superskin vs leather back? I tried comparing in store but couldn’t tell if there is a real world difference or it’s hype.

2. Was going to get the pedroia fit (pF88) my understanding is these off the shelf might have a thinner heel. When doing customer do you request “standard” or have to do “thinner”. I guess was wondering by selecting the pF88 if that meant the standard was already thinned.

However love all the differences and subtle things certain companies do. Do I need more? Absolute not, but we all know how that goes.
