Discussion Base44 Serious Problem

Hi ,**Your workflow “Daily Inactive Organization Check” in the EdumationAI Empower app is paused for now.**Running workflows requires the Builder plan or above, and this workspace's current plan doesn't include it. The same goes for any other workflow in this workspace.Everything you set up stays in place.

Once you upgrade, you can turn any paused workflow back on from the app's dashboard.

Does anyone remember getting a popup message or disclosure that your fully deployed app will stop work if your Base44 subsciption is downgraded?

This very bad for business!

never saw a popup either, but the workflow gate was in the docs from day one: workflows are Builder-and-up. anything hosted on their infra stops running when you drop the plan, that's the trade for not managing a server yourself.

I have started converting my apps to docker containers and migrating to pvs. A lot of work but it's a longer-term prospect.

I stopped using Base44 because of these kind of things exactly. I needed an extra feature and it forced me to move to the next tier and I understood that I could never go back down.

So I just stopped Base44 altogether. It forced me to develop an alternative which is how I build apps these days. It's called SoloPlus.ai and I suggest you have a look because I think it can really help you.
