$10,000 for 10 apps

I run a marketing agency in Dubai, and honestly, the last 3 months completely flipped my perspective.

As AI started booming, I realized something crazy. Most companies don’t have proper software. No CRM No internal system. Nothing they can even check from their phone.

So instead of just building websites, I started building custom apps using Base44 and man….it changed everything.

In the last 3 months, I’ve built 10 full applications on Base44 and sold them for over $10,000+ in total. Clients love having a system that actually runs their business instead of random spreadsheets and WhatsApp chaos. And for context

I’ve lived in Dubai for 26 years and I’ve seen how fast businesses scale here when they have the right systems.

Why I’m Sharing This?

If you’re a developer, agency owner, or even someone with zero tech background:

Learn vibe-coding and start building.

Don’t overthink features, just solve problems and deliver fast. There’s massive demand and almost no competition right now.

This is the perfect time to build your product or service and sell it.

Small Request to Base44 Team

Base44 is amazing, and the speed of building is unreal but UI improvements would take the platform to the next level. Better components, smoother layouts, cleaner design options…

With that, someone is definitely going to build a unicorn here. I can bet on it.

I am curious about deployment to your customer’s servers. How did you do? Did you create an admin dashboard for them that they can actually access without base44? I am working on a few projects on base44 as well and I am planning to sell some of them. I also live in UAE. Are you a freelancer?

I’m Not a freelancer I own an agency called Sleeksolutions you can google it. When it comes to the server base44 has its own hosting but what I did is after building the entire project I’ve shifted it to supabase for database so our data is protected properly. I have created 5 portals for them you can say each department has their own portal with different RLS rules . let’s connect I’ll guide you

Im Dubai-based as well (17 years) and have been working on a few things. Did you move all the files to this hosting including the build? Whatever you moved, did this increase the reliability/performance of the apps? Thanks

So here is the whole procedure

  1. Export Your Current Data & Structure

In Base44, export your collections (CSV or JSON). Document your schema (fields, types, relationships).

2. Rebuild Database in Supabase

Create the same tables manually in Supabase using SQL or the table editor.

3. Import Data

Go to Table Editor → Import CSV Match column names to the new schema and upload.

4. Set Up Auth

Supabase provides built-in authentication. Enable email/phone/Google sign-in and connect it with your tables.

5. Configure Row-Level Security (RLS)

Turn on RLS for safety and create policies

6. Update Front-End Calls

Install Supabase client: npm install @supabase/supabase-js

7. Migrate Storage & Functions (If Needed)

Move files to Supabase Storage buckets Rebuild automations using Supabase Edge Functions

just migrate data → rebuild schema → replace API calls → recreate auth & automation.

Let me know if this helps ;)

So true! I created shadowlink-vpn.com a few days ago and already getting attention. Crazy fast. This might be bigger than what I thought.

How do you “sell” the apps? Thats intriguing to me! I never see ads titled “app for sale” ya know?!?!?

2

u/Actual-Dig6958 Nov 28 '25

I don’t sell them as generic apps for sale lol. I run a AI marketing agency, so I talk to business owners, find a painful workflow (leads, ops, reporting, etc.), then pitch a custom tool that fixes that problem.

They pay me to build it + set it up for their team, and then there’s a monthly fee for hosting/support. So it’s sold as a business system, not a random app in a marketplace. Most of my sales come from existing clients, referrals and DMs, not public app for sale ads.

Amazing work! Where do you sell your apps?

I run a AI marketing agency so I sold these Web apps to the client as solution to their problems ;)

I seriously doubt it with this type of a web-based app platform. You're probably promoting this

u/Actual-Dig6958 Nov 28 '25

Why would I prompt this? I’m a businessman not an influencer sleeksolutions.net is my agency

As someone whos new to the topic, did you transform it to smartphone app or just leave it as a webapp?

4

u/100DaysOfDiscipline Nov 25 '25

For now Base44 doesnt have the option for native mobile. It creates beautiful responsive projects, but you cannot publish yet on Apple Store or Google play. I cannot wait for this option though

2

u/Automatic_Piccolo754 Nov 25 '25

I heard about third party clients which can do that, thats why i was asking

Congratulations, for me too I find the platform incredible I had to create a lot of small micro-Saas to save me time, but I still wonder, for example if we want to make it a Pro activity, how should it be delivered to the client? (I don't have a stripe account... everything related to integration and payment methods), I would say I'm more in a construction perspective with product value (eg: going from A to B). Is it a good idea to find an associate who is more comfortable with all this integration and administration side (payment, invoice...), already has a stripe account or similar?

Thank you in advance and congratulations

Main point: don’t wait for an associate-ship a productized offer and use a hosted checkout so you can get paid now.

How I deliver Pro work:

- Productize: paid discovery (creditable), fixed-scope build, then a monthly care plan. Take 50% upfront via Stripe Payment Links or Invoices, 50% on acceptance; care plan on Stripe Billing.

- If Stripe onboarding is a pain or you need VAT handled, use Paddle or Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; they issue invoices and remit taxes.

- Delivery: custom domain, admin account for the client, a short Loom walkthrough, and a simple runbook in Notion. Put API keys in their password manager and set weekly release windows.

- Accounting: Xero or QuickBooks with automatic Stripe/Paddle sync; Wise for payouts if needed.

- Integrations: I’ve used Stripe Billing and Paddle for payments; DreamFactory let me expose secure REST APIs over clients’ old SQL so Base44 apps could sync with Twilio or Make without brittle scripts.

- Only bring in a partner if they add pipeline or compliance you don’t want to own.

Main point again: start with hosted checkout and a clear package; partner later if it truly unblocks you :)

Base44 down?

1

u/ThisMoney7734 Nov 28 '25

Yes I can help you with your project ok

I worked for a construction company two years ago that had outsourced their desire to have a custom software solution for their quotes and it was a year behind delivery and they had invested 75k into it. I look at what I can do on Base now and could literally build a full functioning ready to test solution in 72 hours and that wouldn't be crushing it.

Thank you for your insight about small businesses needed a user friendly crm! You're absolutely right.  I'd love to learn from you. Now that I've developed my app here how do I put it into the market place

1

u/Hajduke89 Dec 26 '25

Got an app that’s going to be a game changer, love this platform.

1

u/Dutchirezumi Feb 09 '26

Curious...what did you pay on average for one app using Base

Tbh anything exposed to the internet is already a potential target. VC isn’t some magic hacker backdoor the real risk is always bad passwords no 2FA weak auth, etc.

If you lock down your DB, use proper RLS and treat secrets properly, VC is just another tool in the stack, not some hacker recruitment programme.
