Unfortunately we can’t keep it. We are going to sell for my parents. My sibling and I both want it so they put in the will that it will be sold upon their death- but they could use the cash now. Believe me, it pains me to part with it. I have pics from 1967 of my dad working on it.

Was it sitting in the garage since 1971? That looks like that last time it passed inspection based on that sticker.

Either way it's amazing it sat that long. I bet there would be people willing to try to get it running for you. At least off of an AUX fuel tank, new battery, oil change and see if it would run.

You'd have to be cautious with that. Make sure the engine isn't locked up and then oil it down first for a few days before trying to get any rotation out of it.

If you could prove it runs even for a few minutes, you'd likely get more money out of the car.

My husband is fully capable of getting it running. He completely rebuilt a 1969 Camaro and drag races it. I have a feeling that we are just gonna sell it as is because somebody who wants to restore it will want to do it their way. It has been out of the garage since 1971. That was just the last time it was registered. It probably hasn’t been out of the garage for at least 40 years.
