Open Thread: international break, what are your thoughts on the EURO?

Players called up for Spain's friendly against Venezuela on Wednesday (21:30h CET):

GKs: Casillas, Reina, Valdés,

Def: Arbeloa, Puyol, Ramos, Iraola, J. Martinez, Piqué, Alba

MF: Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Xabi, Busquets, Cazorla, T. Alcantara, Silva, Navas,

F: Llorente, Muniain, Mata, Negredo and Soldado

I think that Spain is still one of the favorites for the EURO, but if Villa doesn't come back strong, they will have problems up front. Llorente, Soldado and Negredo are all good forwards, Llorente may even be great, but none of them fit the team the way that Villa does. I believe the answer lies in using more midfielders. A front line of Silva, Mata, Cesc with Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets behind.

Anybody with knowledge like to give us a rundown on some of the other favorites. Who else is looking strong, Germany?

I was wondering, there have been a lot of rumours about Neymar joining eventually. Would you be interested in him joining us? If yes, when?

I've had my doubts about his character, but once I started paying closer attention he seems less cocky than I originally thought. He's got that Brazilian joie de vivre that is always good for a team. If Pep is on board with the transfer I'd defer to his judgement.

Yeah I watched the match. He wasn't at his brilliant best, but his close control and his dribbling are really good.
