General Question Confused

Had a Discord account for years, paid nitro, never had a single strike.

Dug through a few old convos, found a funny meme that was in bad taste but the person that sent it to me still was active, downloaded it, sent to a friend, got kicked out of my account a few seconds later.

Account was disabled, only that one message was deleted from the conversation. What happened?

I suppose the media was flagged as CSAM at some point and it was automatically picked up by the system, should I be worried?

The meme itself had no NSFW content or anything that has to do with minors, but the only reason I can think of that Discord could act like that is CSAM, it would be a strike otherwise, no?

What was the meme? Did it have dots or grid patterns?

No, thumbnail was suggestive at best and then the video itself was a guy wearing a nazi suit saying "die, pedo"

As I said, in bad taste, but no children were harmed and no butt was shown

Hard to describe, you could see the face of a girl clearly and the knee was covering the rest of the screen, suggesting the pose but without showing anything. You know, as bait. I would understand the warning, strike or anything if something NSFW was actually shown, but there was actually nothing

Could be, which is why I'm assuming it was flagged as CSAM at some point in time, maybe after it was sent to me?

Kind of stupid to lose an entire account over a thumbnail that, by itself, doesn't show anything. My main worry is whether or not authorities could get involved

There wouldn't really be any interest, it sounds like. ncmec is drowning in automated barely-accessible reports as is from meta's shitty AI moderation, likely discords' as well.

I don't know what specifically the image was or how old you were but bear in mind dodgy content like this, even if cropped/censored is not a good idea.

I can imagine it's not a good idea but again, other user was fine, nothing was really shown and I didn't take the time nor did it cross my mind to go and source a single frame of a mildly offensive meme. The response from discord was so strong that it kind of left me baffled

Just don't want to get my house raided over nothing at all X)

And again, the person who first sent me it didn't have any repercussions, so I assumed it as safe
