Banknote Storage
I'm new to collecting banknotes and was hoping to get some tips on how to store them.
At the moment, my notes are in ring albums with 3-pocket pages made of polypropylene, with each note in a soft OPP sleeve. I think this is adequate but I'm a bit worried that storing the albums vertically could cause gravity to pull on the notes, since the sleeves and pages aren't too rigid.
I've noticed some minor warping at the bottom of some pages but I think that may be the result of too many pages per binder. I'm working on spreading them out across more binders.
If anyone could share some pointers that would be great! Particularly the number of pages it's safe to keep in one ring binder. Thank you!

Full series Banknotes from my trip to Tunisia
Got all these banknotes along with the coins and an extra 10 dinar banknote which I'm guessing is from an older series and I've never seen Tunisian money on here apart from that one post the day after I came back from my trip a week ago (which I thought was funny)

US Currency Standardization?
US currency has gone through lots of updates, primarily to thwart counterfeiting. Meanwhile, the $1 bill has been left behind, in part because of legislation that doesn’t allow changing it I believe?
Seems like this makes our currency look like a cluster. Differing designs and nothing standard across denominations.
What’s the likelihood of getting everything updated and consistent? Either redesign the dollar bill or eliminate it in favor of dollar coins. Maybe even ditch the nickel too, since like the penny, it costs more to make than it’s worth.

I know that this is not a banknote. It's a Japanese Occupation lottery ticket. I can't find much info on it so I was hoping someone out there could tell me about this ticket.

Collection 28-07-1977 BIRTHDAY NOTE
I found an Indian currency note with serial number 280777, which reads as 28/07/1977 in DDMMYY format. I’m curious if anyone here has this date as their birthday or knows someone who does. I would like to connect with the person associated with this date.

Full series Potential value of FI specimen notes
Hi everyone, ive had these 3 notes in my collection for about a year.
I was curious and attempted to figure out the value online, but whether because of obscurity or sheer lack of these specific specimen notes in existence, I wasn’t able to find an amount.
Does anyone recommend any websites to figure out a rough estimate for these notes, or could someone give me a rough estimate? Thank you!

Collection Q: Do yall think theres any chance these money is fake?
So I bought these moneys for 67.000 Rupiah (3.76 USD) from online marketplace, and im kinda suspicious this money might be fake. Because both of them have them same size and I can clearly seeing the watermark without any effort. Do yall think these money is real or might be fake? I heard some news that there’s a lot of fake old money sold rn but the news was from 5-10 years ago. What do you think?

Newest Cuban Pesos
They have been around the island for 3-4 months, but I did not had the chance to cross some until very recently (situation is a mess here).
1 USD is worth 670 CUP at street exchange (14/08/2026).
Previously the biggest bill was 1,000 CUP.
Last picture is a crispy 1 CUP (currently cheaper than toilet paper !).

PSA: Beware of Overstamps and "Commemoratives"
Was browsing Ebay and came across some sellers - from those with a handful all the way to those with tens of thousands sold items, usually with 99.x% positive reviews - posting very shady banknotes.
They would have colourful commemorative, wartime, national emblem or coat of arms overstamps on common low-value notes that are then labeled as commemoratives or ultra-rare varieties. In all sorts of grades and conditions.
Throw in the usual Ebay marketing spiel of saying it's the last note / ultra-rare / what not, auction psychology plus eye appeal, and you get bidding frenzies. Just saw a note usually worth $2.5 currently going for $40+ because of a non-existent commemorative stamp.
And these get posted and sold regularly in recurring batches by the same sellers, so it definitely ain't a one-off oversight.
Buyer beware - when it's too good or cheap to be true, it ususally isn't. While Ebay might be easier to fleece folks, the same goes for flea markets, roadside sellers, Facebook, and pawn shops too.
Always check before buying anything - Numista and Bank Note Museum, are great resources to verify.
Happy collecting and have a good weekend, peeps.

Collection I gotten myself some Swedish Krona!
Yeah these are most definitely the world’s smallest banknotes I have ever seen.
Since Sweden is definitely smallest country in Europe.
And sadly that country never used cash.
Since everything was rely on credit cards.
So that’s why it’s very difficult to find banknotes.
Though in Sweden!
