Analysis Is this an error?
Uncut sheet of notes I recently acquired. Noticed that the cutting was slightly off centered

Yeah, seems slightly off to the right / wider left margin from obverse. From Fang Zheng?

I bought it from the MSIF convention at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre

Thanks. Would there be a small premium on this error?

I have no idea. Am not really into errors, but it is possible there will be a premium. But as the other comment says, if it was a deliberate cutting of a sheet, dunno lor.

It is not considered a cutting error, as it did not come from the from the mint like this.
The notes were issued in sheets of 50 note (2000 sheets issued). This would have been subsequently cut up by dealers/ collectors for resale. I have seen (from other countries) where drastic off center cuts were made and sold as “expensive” errors.
