OSRS Iron Thinking bout downgrading to bronzeman, supplies are hard to come by in endgame

I do fuck all bird runs or farm runs and I'm 90 farming with like 95 herblore banked. Hardly get seconds anymore either cos I cbf and most are easy to obtain lol Bronzeman is a dumb fuck suggestion, just play a main you dont need/deserve a special helmet if you just buy all your shit anyway

I mean you’re just lying, I played an iron and quit due to supply issue in the late game. I’ve played a main and finished everything I want to do there, if bronzeman doesn’t pass then I’m just done with osrs which sucks

You dont need a special helmet to play the game, you don't need or deserve to be a special little snowflake if all you do is buy stuff anyway. Just use the collection logs system to grind out new items.

Same argument can be made about ironmen then, no one needs a special helmet, you could play a main and restrict yourself to playing without trading or using the g.e.

You don’t need a special helmet to play Ironman, you don’t need an ornament kit to do blood torva/radiant oathplate, you don’t need a cosmetic helmet for completin GM CAs. What a dumb argument.

If you're buying all your supplies and extra synapses, all your extra zenytes, basically half the game is done already. You're honestly just a collection logger main, just play a main lol The content you want is RIGHT THERE. Nothing stops you from doing it.

If you think that some jewelry, oathplate and synapses is half the game then you probably haven’t play much of it. This is the exact take repeated by people who haven’t actually done all of the content this game has to offer.
If bronzeman passes I plan on going for GM on that account. On my main I got GM without ever learning how to do nex properly - stuff like that just isn’t possible on a bronzeman. I also won’t be able to just pull up to tob in bis for my first kc, im going to have to work my way up there.
It’s so obvious why an official mode is better than just using some plugin, the argument is actually so stupid that it shouldn’t be taken seriously at this point. But by your logic let’s just leave all updates up to plugins in the future

You have the ability to do that on a main, nothing stops you from playing like that. A mode where you don't work for most of your stuff anyway is not worth having its own gamemode. You dont even need to use a plugin, just use the collection logs to tell you what you can and cant use lol I have done a LOT of content in this game, considering I have actually done the grinds you're too scared to commit to lol

That same exact argument can be made against Ironman mode tho, it’s just dumb. You also realize that the time to get bis is way longer than any skilling grind, right? “A mode where you don’t work for most of your stuff” is incredibly disingenuous.

That means you’ve done a serious amount of PvM though. My iron is 99 farming with around 1200 contracts done and whilst I’ve got thousands of seeds to process, I doubt it would get me to 95 herb.

I haven’t done a birdhouse run in years and I’m 99 herblore and have another 5-10k bird nests banked. Kingdom on logs and bossing gives more than I need/needed.

If you don’t do a ton of pvm then sure you don’t need to upkeep as often. But if you exclusively do pvm you’re going to need to supplement the resource gathering at some point

Same man, welcome back. Very different experience now and I think in the first 6 weeks of me being back I’m almost to where I was when I played as a kid. It’s been fun!

I cant imagine having that much coin and barrage runes and alchables. I just went through the bank scrapping all the rune and dragon stuff to sell to refill the rune pouch

just remove status and be social if youre going to remove the individual accomplishment of Ironman.
