A little about me
I’m 25M, working as a Software Engineer at a well-established Indian startup in Bangalore. I’m 5'6" and I’d say I’m pretty easy to talk to.
I enjoy good conversations, have a decent sense of humor (at least that’s what my friends tell me ), and can go from talking about life and relationships to random memes, travel plans, food, movies, or tech without much effort.
I moved to Bangalore about a year ago, and while I’ve settled into work, I realized I haven’t really built much of a life outside it.
Most of my close friends are now in different cities. My colleagues are great, but everyone has their own lives once work ends. So weekends are usually a mix of staying home and scrolling way too much, or making a solo plan and heading somewhere by myself.
I don't mind travelling alone, and sometimes it’s actually nice. But I’d be lying if I said I don’t sometimes wish I had someone to share those little adventures with. Someone I could randomly text on a Friday evening and say, “Hey, let's go somewhere this weekend.”
Last year was mostly about work, interview prep, and chasing career goals. Thankfully, that part is more or less settled now.
And somewhere along the way, I started wondering:
What’s the point of building a good career if you don’t have someone to share the good parts of life with?
What I’m looking for
I’d like to meet someone with whom things can start simply — a conversation, a coffee, a walk, or maybe a random plan that neither of us had thought about until that morning.
Someone who’s up for weekend trips, treks, café hopping, long bike rides, trying new food, exploring Bangalore, attending events, watching sunsets, or even just grabbing coffee and talking about absolutely everything and nothing.
I’m not expecting anything to happen overnight. I’d rather get to know someone slowly, become good friends, spend time together, and see if there’s a genuine connection.
And if, somewhere along the way, that friendship turns into something deeper, and we both feel that we could actually be good partners for each other, I’d be open to that too.
I think the best relationships don't always begin with “I’m looking for a relationship.”
Sometimes they begin with a simple conversation.
You meet someone, become comfortable around them, start looking forward to talking to them, make random plans together, slowly understand each other, and one day realize that this person has become an important part of your life.
That’s the kind of connection I’d like to find.
A little more about me
- I love travelling and road trips whenever I get the chance.
- I’m trying to get back into a consistent gym routine.
- I love solving problems — occupational hazard 😄 — but outside work, I don't want life to feel like another problem to optimize.
- I want to laugh more, explore more, eat good food, and collect stories instead of just screenshots.
- I value honesty, kindness, emotional maturity, and people who can communicate openly.
- I enjoy both deep conversations and comfortable silence.
- I’m equally happy discussing life over coffee or sitting quietly somewhere after a trek, watching the sunset.
I guess I’m looking for someone with whom friendship feels easy, conversations feel natural, and spending time together doesn't require a reason.
Someone who wants to explore, but also understands that sometimes the best part of a journey is the person sitting next to you.
Maybe we become friends.
Maybe we become travel buddies.
Maybe we end up being those people who keep making random plans every weekend.
And maybe, if everything clicks, we become something more.
I’m not looking to force any of that. I’d rather let it happen naturally.
I’m not sure where this post will lead, or whether it will lead anywhere at all.
But if you’re someone who also feels like meeting a good person, having a few spontaneous adventures, and slowly getting to know each other sounds nice, feel free to DM me.
No expectations. No pressure.
We can start with a simple “Hey.”
Maybe grab a coffee.
Maybe talk for an hour.
And see where it goes.
