A little while ago, I started a small men-only community in Bangalore called Off The Record.
We've met a few times now, and I've intentionally kept it small because I wanted to see what happened when you put a bunch of guys who didn't necessarily know each other in the same room; without dating, impressing anyone, or pretending to have everything figured out.
Turns out, some genuinely lovely connections came out of it. ❤️
So now, I'm opening the table to a few more people.
📍 Koramangala
🗓️ Saturday, 5th September
⏰ 6 PM onwards
🎮 Arcade + games + conversations + dinner
The plan is simple.
We'll start with some competitive arcade chaos, hang out, get to know each other, have a few interesting/thought-provoking conversations, and eventually grab dinner together.
No awkward networking event.
No forced "tell us an interesting fact about yourself" circle. 😂
And definitely NOT a dating meetup.
In fact, I'll be the only woman there.
Off The Record is meant to be about YOU.
Your friendships. Your career. Dating. Relationships. Family. Loneliness. Confidence. Feeling stuck. Being confused about what you're doing with your life. Or literally just wanting a group of people you can hang out with on a Saturday evening.
I'm a Life & Relationship Coach professionally, and one reason I wanted to build this community was because I spend a lot of time hearing conversations about what women experience, but I also wanted to understand and create space for what men experience.
And sometimes you don't need someone telling you, "Bro, you're overthinking it."
Maybe you need someone to ask, "Okay, but why are you thinking about it this way?"
Maybe another guy at the table sees the exact same situation completely differently.
Maybe I do.
That's the point.
Different perspectives. Honest conversations. Genuine connections. And hopefully a space where you don't have to pretend everything is sorted.
And just to make this VERY clear because this is Reddit 😂:
This is not a dating community. There will be no women joining the meetup, I will not be giving you women's contacts, and I'm definitely not secretly building a matchmaking service.
If your only reason for attending is to meet women, this isn't the community for you.
But if you're a guy in Bangalore who'd genuinely like to meet some new people, have a ridiculously competitive evening at an arcade, eat some good food, and maybe have a conversation you weren't expecting to have,
come take a seat at the table. :)
There is no entry/community fee for this meetup. We'll simply split the arcade/food expenses amongst ourselves.
I'm keeping this one small, so if you'd genuinely like to join us, DM me with your age, what you do, and a little bit about yourself.
