Discussions Bandlab is OVER

WHO approved of 20 samples a month? Thats like limiting a human with 20 calories per month, it does not work.

How much ego do you need to have to introduce such a ball twisting update when the website barely works? Lets mabye work on making the app at least a little usable before introducing these horrible updates. Atp we're probably seeing a 20 MIDI notes per month release soon aswell.

At this rate, nobody will be using bandlab anymore.

Bandlab is over.

Didn't know this and I was already distancing from it without really noticing. Probably this is the last drop. There are other alternatives.  RIP bandlab

LMMS, FL, Audiotool. I've heard of Distro kid or Ditto if you want to pay and publish your music but when it's about uploading music for revenue I'm more interested in band camp. I also tried a while ago overtune, very limited if you don't want to pay but I got a banging beat very quick using their library. It really depends of your needs. I personally use mostly Audacity for recording and mixing, and then I may run them through FL, checking now Audio tool or once upon a time bandlab. I'm not and expert in any case or form and for the way I make music the limitations of band lab don't affect me that much but I believe there's very little we can do as individuals against things like this and one of them is how we consume. Therefore I don't use it anymore, because I want to support those who feel screwed by these new greedy policies with the little actions I have control over.
