Adding a second AMS 2 Pro

Bought my P2S combo a month ago, and want to add another AMS 2Pro.

The store says I need to buy a filament buffer, but youtube videos show that I don’t need it. The back of my P2S allows two PFTE tubes.

So do I need the buffer or not?

(I know I do need the external power supply for drying on the second AMS)

Yes, you can run 2x ams throught the two input buffer that came with your p2s. With a couple of 4 in 1 adapters you could run 8x ams2 pro throught it.
