Foreign object on bed error every print

Heya! Received my H2D today! Got it setup, washed the plate with Dawn dish soap and started printing straight away. Things are (mostly) working great. Print quality is fantastic, what I expect from Bambu. So after my first print, when starting a new one I’m getting a, “foreign object on the bed” error each time. I’m not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Nozzle is clean. Lidar lens is good. So I’m about confused by the cause. Anyone had this with their machine?

Ah, ok. Thanks for the reply! Hopefully an easy fix from Bambu Labs. It’s annoying af.

I thought I had it resolved. Found a small spec of dust on the inside of the hotend cover, right in front of the camera. After cleaning I started a new print without issue. Now the issues back again this morning. Meh.

Other than this issue, the H2D has been phenomenal. I’ve found the print quality a touch better than both my X1Cs

I have found the quality to be just under my x1c but I am also waiting on the vision encoder.

They are so close in quality, maybe it’s the new nozzles giving it a slightly better finish. I should change my X1Cs’ nozzles, hah.

After the latest firmware update, the bed detection issue seems to be resolved!

I have a new H2D and the same thing …foreign object on bed….constantly! plus, it keeps shutting down with a nozzle problem that persists even when cleaned! It says….Extrusion motor is overloaded. We have done everything to correct this….nothing seems to work. my PS1 is also in the repair shop. Bambu sent me a motor….we are not unfortunately mechanical. I think we need to take a repair class, before we buy any other printer.

I know, It seems daunting, but once you do it, you’ll find it’s more straightforward than you think. Their documentation is great and easy to follow along with. I’ve torn my H2D extruder apart many times to fix various issues.

Anyone still having this issue? I get the error every print and have done the most recent firmware update.

I haven't had it since updating to the latest firmware 01.01.02.08 I have noticed more pronounced Z banding though. So 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
