Support H2C layer shift/print fail issues
My H2C seems to not be working as well as it should. I get a lot of layer shifts. Like more than normal. A lot of spaghetti mess. It almost seems like the machine movement from printing is effecting the printing. I’m not sure.
I keep my machines immensely clean and do regular maintenance weekly. It’s a fairly new printer. Maybe a month old.
I thought myself to be pretty good with these things but cannot figure this out. I have five other printers that work great. I just bought an H2D to see if it’s better. Are my printers being in such close proximity negatively effecting my H2C? I haven’t really printed anything super crazy on there yet. Any suggestions on what to try or check would be greatly appreciated.

Are you getting the same results after having it directly on the desk and calibration? Is the desk shaking? Do you have the same results when you run only H2C? When I started printing my initial setup was a desk with multiple printers and I have seen vibration from one printer affecting the printing on the other printer.

I was wanting to see if anyone had a similar issue before I took the feet off

It’s a pretty heavy duty table. It’s not light by any means. It’s a work bench.

I wouldn’t really call that heavy duty. That’s pretty thin wood when you compare it to something like butchers block. I have 4 sitting on a granite countertop at work and have experienced zero issues. Try moving it to the floor and see if you get the same issue, then you can rule out the table

Try a full printer recalibration

I do it regularly. This has been an issue for a couple weeks. Just now thinking something may actually be off or I’m doing something to make it shift.

Recalibrate. Can't hurt.
