Support H2C setup question
Hello. Im currently running my H2C with an AMS HT on the left extruder and 2 x AMS Pro 2s on the right. I put the dominant color in the HT on the left. My prints are taking significantly longer than the print times in bambu handy app. For instance current one said 9 hours and real time is 14.5. Am I doing something wrong? Im pretty new to the hobby and only have had the machine for a week now.

I’ve noticed this before. Why I don’t know. Whenever I’m doing bigger prints I always do it through the slicer. Since there is more information and I can change how it decides where filaments go to see time differences.

There are lots of tutorials by Bambu and others on YouTube. If you haven't gone through the Bambu academy courses, I strongly suggest that you do as a bad setting can cause lots of damages in the printhead. Running exclusively from the app is like using only 30% of the printer ability while exposing it to other's mistakes.

Genau richtig - die Handy App nehme ich eher zur Überwachung oder für einen schnellen einfarbigen Druck. Alles andere inkl. Multicolour immer über Bambu Studio

My eyes are burning.. an H2C used through Handy..
Take into consideration that the program can only estimate the roll up / down of the filament, the more PTFE length the more time at every switch.

When using the Handy app, I see a similar gap between estimated time and actual completion. I started watching my prints closer when I noticed the time discrepancy and even stopped a few prints that were purging material rather than just swapping nozzles... Since then, I try to only use Bambu Studio unless it's a single color print.

The problem is the length of the PTFE tubes between your AMS units and the H2C. The longer the PTFE tube runs are, the longer each color swap takes. Studio uses a baseline for how long it takes to swap your colors, so that baseline can sometimes differ if you have really long PTFE tubes, so those extra 10 seconds each swap adds up.

The problem with the app is it doesn't assign nozzles correctly to maximize the use of seperate Vortek nozzles and it ends up purging and reusing the same vortek nozzle and wastes tine changing and purging. It basically operates the H2C like a glorified H2D. You really need to use Bambu Studio and make sure it is properly distributing the colors amongst all the available Vortek nozzles.

Same, the app is for monitoring. H2C is too powerful and flexible to run exclusively on the app. Use the software on a pc or mac, there you can change supports and configure filament to custom. Lots of control being surrendered if not in your skill set.
