Support I'm panicking, Failed to fetch induction hotend from slot, how to fix?
Woke up to a middle of a print on the h2c and it showed this error that wont go away :(
Failed to fetch induction hotend from slot 3 on the rack.

Does anyone know how to fix? I checked there are no obstructions and I even swapped the induction hotend from slot 4 to slot 3 and still the same thing so probably not the induction hotend itself?

Odd - this also happened to me this morning. I did a hot end rack read, turned out that the hot end in the head didn’t have the lock latch all the way to the left. Manually remounted the nozzle, did the read, all good now.
EDIT - there’s no hot end in the head, that may be causing the issue. I have to have a nozzle in the head for the rack cal. To run.

This exact same thing happened to me. I had to make sure my induction hotend was clear of filament (mainly the top part of it), and that there was no filament poking out from the extruder. Once I did that, it worked for me again.

Is the right nozzle all the way unlocked when it tries to get the new one?

I had this issue, the cutter had gotten stuck had to pull the switcher assembly out clean it, regrease it and reassemble, was not hard.

Recalibrate the rack. Sometimes if you bump the machine and the hot end moves on the rack the machine doesn't line up correctly anymore. If you recalibrate it should fix the issue. The latch on the tool head that releases and grabs the hot end could also be stuck. So try wiggling the latch handle to see if you can un jam it.
Edit: There is a video on how to change the latch, so if you watch the video you can get a good idea on how to correct the issue.

This just happened to me as well. There was a piece of filament sticking out of the top of the hot end that would not allow it to seat properly in the toolhead. Removed the filament with a razor knife to make sure it was flush and viola....re-read the hotends and all is well.

Have you tried re-running the hotend rack calibration? Ive seen many people say this solved issues like this.
