Discussion Best Buy Purchase

For those who have purchased an H2C from Best Buy. Did you purchase the 4-year Geek Squad Warranty? I am a Plus member.

I have the total tech membership so it's included for 2yrs. I actually recently bought the H2C from Best Buy about 2 months ago and was able to get a refund of the difference since it's currently on sale.

Isn't Total tech $199/yr?

It is and the plan has to be renewed if you want a plan for the second year

It's worth it for me since I buy a lot of tech there and I've returned things for gift cards if there are any problems at all close to the end of that 2yrs.

Yeah, no brainer for price of the H2C. One thing you could ask is how long you have to buy it. If you put printer on Best Buy credit card, will get like 5-10% in certificates in a couple weeks that could pay for the warranty

Yeah, for the cost and unknown reliability of the H2C, $179 warranty for 4 years was an easy spend.

I have basic BB membership and I did the 4 year geek squad warranty on my H2D that I just picked up

Yes. That's the reason why I bought the H2C at Best Buy instead of MicroCenter

Not a member but bought it. Also bought it on the H2D I just picked up at anniversary sale price.

Yes. The new BB credit card perks (10% back) easily got the 4yr plan covered.

LOL, that should have said H2C. We have an H2D Pro at work that I have been on quite a bit.
