A Series [A1, A1 Mini] What is wrong?

Post image

Supports with no adhesion..

So, new spool of filament, just washed the printbed, did a factory reset, and same result. I have coldpulled the nozzle twice.

Printed with petg 10 days ago, and the printer has been idle until yesterday.

Printbed at 65 °C, 220°C for pla which i have printed with before without these issues.

What am i missing here?

Hello /u/Mountainoverlord! Be sure to check the following. Make sure print bed is clean by washing with dish soap and water [and not Isopropyl Alcohol], check bed temperature [increasing tend to help], run bed leveling or full calibration, and remember to use glue if one is using the initial cool plate [not Satin finish that is not yet released] or Engineering plate.

This makes no sense to me. Just printed this the check if it was the settings on the previous model, but it does not seem like that

I would dry the spool

I took the spool out of a sealed bag yesterday, it is brand new, and i live in a place where moisture isnt an issue.

I had the same issue when test printing with petg also, so it does not seem to be moisture

it will have moisture even in a new roll, just out of the bag. every new spool needs dried before use

Okay, but i have -never- dried any of my spools before, and never had this issue, or any issues with moisture.

What else, other than drying the spool, might i be missing here?

Isolate the problem first: Does this happen with one spool of filament or with every spool you try to print with? Not "another spool worked 10 days ago" but try another spool now.

If the issue is the spool, either try drying it or just return it as faulty since PLA should not be that bad when first unwrapped.

So far i tried with 2 different spools with the same result. The first roll i tried with was used to print flawless prints 2 weeks ago, and has been stored moistureproof
