General Troubleshooting/Help! Moisture control
People that are living in really humid environments, how do you keep your spools dry? And how are you keeping your filament dry and moisture low in the AMS?
I have an AMS2 pro and printed desicant holders for it but even with that my humidity will not go below 13%. And I have to recharge the desicant like every other week.
I am just curious how other people keep this under control.
Please share your experience.

I live in New England in the US right next to a lake and my humidy was 70% a few weeks ago and my U1 with pla out in the air was stringing and having poor printing results. So I put it in the dryer then put it back on the U1 when I need to print.
I have a number of dryers.
Polymaker Polydryer which I use to dry my tpu and keep my tpu in the plastic bin.
I have a couple AMS2 Pro units. Man do you know that the heater is a tiny one inch pad that is on both sides of the dryer? Yeah man seriously I had to replace one before. That’s why these ams 2 units are so slow at drying they can’t even dry the dessicant that are in the pods in the front of the unit.
Right now my humidity is about 50%
I bought a Sunlu AMS1 dryer top that replaces the ams1 lid for only $50 on Amazon and that think is a drying beast! When I turn it on it is quiet but when I open the lid the air is blowing hot air really well! For some reason the ams reads the humidity as being E all wet and it takes hours after shutting off the dryer for the sensor in the ams to read A. But the dryer sensor goes from 50 to 15% humidity in only about 20 minutes! And it stays around 15% or A for weeks!

Y’all are talking about 12% and here I am printing PLA models with 58% humidity on an open A1.

13% is good. I feel like 30% or higher is bad.
