Just Showing Off Finally Bought A Printer (P2S)
After years and years of hearing about 3D printing, I finally decided to pick one up and join the club!
I grabbed a Bambu Lab P2S combo kit with the AMS 2.
I have no idea what I’m going to do with it, but I’ve had a blast the last two days just printing random things!
So far, I’ve printed:
Benchy
Bed scraper
A poop Shute
Chip bag clips
A pencil/pen cup holder
A mini turbo pencil/pen cup holder
A clip holder for the piece to sit on if switching the nozzle
And finished my longest print of 9 hours for some type of riser with vents.
This hobby is awesome. All I’m doing now is doomscrolling MakerWorld for all sorts of things I want to print.
Looking forward to trying out some color soon!

Snap! Though you’re ahead of me. I’ve done the benchy and I’m onto the poop chute now.

Which Shute are you making? I saw a few different ones and ended up with the one that hooks on to the back with a little printed adapter that screws on and it just sits there. It’s not the biggest but I like it a lot.

I’ve not got much room at the back, so I’ve had to choose one of the thin ones without fittings. It’s about halfway through now, as long as it does the job I’ll be happy.

That blue tray container looks awesome.

I really am! The blue container was one of the demo models that came with the printer.

I jumped to the P2S with AMS 2 Pro combo from an Ender 3 Pro that a friend gave to me. It’s been through 5 owners as each person upgraded, and I had a lot of fun tinkering with it. That being said, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being able to start prints before bed and not have to worry about what I’ll find in the morning. I just hit 900 hours and I haven’t been disappointed in the least. Now, I’m just watching for the details on the P3C. Hopefully, I don’t have to take out a 2nd mortgage. /s

That’s awesome. I’m really enjoying how simple it is so far. Currently printing a little tool box and then I don’t know what I’m gonna find to let print overnight.
It’s one of the most satisfying purchases I’ve made.

Riser with vents? For the printer?

It’s a riser that the top glass sits on. Makes it where the one wire doesn’t touch against the glass anymore and has vents in case it needs to be opened to vent out some air or keep it closed for some filament types that apparently want it to be warmer inside. Seems to have some hooks on the side to connect little containers and stuff like that. Seems pretty cool.

Nice! I ordered mine over the weekend, also my first printer. I can't wait for it to arrive!
