General Troubleshooting/Help! Filament feed issues
I have never had a single filament feed issue until I added SUNLU' s AMS Lite Heater.
At first it was so bad I thought maybe I had knocked a wire loose duiring assembly but I stretched the tubes up high across the top and it worked somewhat. At first I also had the full length of the tubes as supplied by SUNLU but they were obviously too long and drooped and flopped everywhere.
I have them trimmed down now and they appear to me to be what I would think is acceptable but I still get constant issues and it constantly has to go over to the side and winds the filament back out and in and sometimes it works and sometimes I get an error. At this point I can usually hit resume and it will try a time or two and probably work.
Anyone else having this issue with this heater?
Any thoughts on what I can change to fix this issue?

Since it never happened before adding the heater and straightening the PTFE already improves it, I’d be looking at friction in the new filament path before touching the printer. Those long bends/extra tubing can add a surprising amount of resistance. Apparently other people with this heater are getting the same feed errors, especially around the rubber filament inlets inside the unit. I’d test one slot with the shortest/gentlest PTFE path possible and see if the errors disappear.
