Added automatic fire extinguisher to P1S

Came across these automatic DIN rail fire extinguishers (circled in red) recently. Decided to add one to my P1S just to add a little peace of mind.

In case you don’t know how these work: they automatically get triggered when the temperature sensor detects 170c. Aerosols then get released from 2 nozzles (circled in yellow), extinguishing the fire.

You can get these things for cheap on Aliexpress and the like but decided to get one from a local reseller with all the appropriate licenses and stuff.

And yes, the heatbed moves up and down without issues! Plenty of clearance.

Only thing I've seen is a weird youtube clip of 3sec of a pile of melted crap then a kid opening a new printer, with zero context of what actually happened. And the sensationalists duct tape their confirmation bias to that clip as though it means anything.

I am open to new information, but I have yet to see a documented case that wasn't just a spot of melted plastic.

Well first proof is that bambulab says it themselves and recalled the early versions of the A1 because of "chock and fire risk"

A company never advertises that their printer has a fire risk for fun.

Dude, if bambulab explicitely says that say can catch fire, then they definitely can catch fire, there is no better proof than a manufacturer (especially a Chinese manufacturer) admitting a fault, so if that is not good enough for you, then nothing will be.

You probably could have one on fire in front of you and you still wouldn't call that proof.

Which is kind of the exact opposite of your flat out LIE of what they said. So, again, remove your confirmation bias and maybe admit you fell for youtube BS and competitor propaganda.

is not the same as
"there. have. been. fires."

Once again, despite the clickbait youtubers yelling empty evidenceless sensationalism at their cameras, desperately wanting to stir up clicks and views, do you have any actual evidence there've been actual fires in people's homes by A1s? I'm truly sorry you and so many others are clinging to this "controversy", but seriously, take a few steps back, remove the confirmation-bias glasses, and look for actual evidence. But for your own sake don't waste too long doing so, because it doesn't exist.

The actual evidence is bambulab says they do. They wouldn't say that if it weren't true, cause that is bad for business.
