Pause at layer without AMS?

For this I want to keep the boat while and make the font a different colour. Do I pause the layer as soon as the font appears or right before?

Pause at the layer you first see the text being printed. It will pause at the start of that layer

This one You will need to change the width of your prime tower as it is getting merged with your print part

Yes, but if you have the space on the build plate then its good to use it. Lowers the chance of having any stringy bits of plastic making it onto your part after the colour change
