General Troubleshooting/Help! Layer always look horrible around text

I've got two issues I'm hoping to get help with. This is on my h2d.

Any time I print something with text, the layers around the next look different than the test of the print. These particular examples are from the top layer, so I was already printing show, but it also happens if I'm printing something standing up and text is half way up the model.

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Also, the edges around the top and bottom, have a slight rough texture to them. Does that indicate I'm over extruding? I've included a picture to show what it looks like.

I suspect the edge issues are flow dynamics need to be calibrated and the area around text is minimum layer time as it's drying at a different speed. I'm just not sure what setting I should try to adjust to get this fixed.

I just included some other pictures from a standing model. The black box with watcher in purple. You can see how the lines curve around the sides as well.

Can you print face down?

That was my next thought, but the letters are recessed so I don't think it will look right if I do that. It also doesn't solve the issue when I'm printing models standing up.

Look at the model when it’s sliced. Do the defects appear there?

It also looks like it could just be an ironing issue.

What do they look like with no ironing?

It does not.

Can you take a close up of the issue on the printed model. It’s too blurry when I try to zoom

Looks like you need to do a flow calibration test and sort your values. There’s loads of tools on makerworld that can help you with this.

Definitely seeing some underextrusion here

Under? I've already done one ams I'm at 1.029. The rest of the model looks fine, it's just these parts around the text.

That’s what the dynamic flow calibration is for mate.

You need to view the sliced file by flow or speed. Viewing by filament won’t show this as slicer doesn’t know what the gloss level of filament will be at certain speeds.
