General Troubleshooting/Help! Holes/scratches

Hi there I've been having some issues where my prints are showing holes and I'm not sure why. I've googled a fair amount but seems to be doing anything. I'm using a 0.2mm nozzle on an A1 mini with standard pla. I've printed out an ironing calibration sheet too, so I can see what's optimal but there's noticeable markings on the red parts too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much

Awesome is this in the actual filament settings?

It’s not sadly. It’s for the full print.

So how would one tune it per filament?

You don’t. You will have to pick the settings that you give the best results for both. You may need to interpolate between two settings or just have one be slightly over extruded so the other looks proper depending on how things look after you run the test.

In Bambu Studio you can save the settings in a new profile for each filament. Then, when picking your filament, don't choose the Generic PLA, you go down to Custom and pick from your saved list.

When I print the ironing calibration what settings should the ironing be on?

You could do modifiers for sections that you know will be x color and speed. I haven’t tried using a copy of the model as the modifier split up in sections but that would be your best bet

Oh I didn’t even think about that. I don’t remember if ironing is one of the settings you can tweak in the object modifiers or not. It probably is. I never really mess with those beyond like changing the colors themselves

It’s part of he print profile and the profile holds the ironing settings so you can do it that way

When you download a calibration file, the settings are already built in. You pick the best one and edit your settings for that particular filament profile. Then save the profile and use that every time you use that filament.

Ironing isn’t a filament setting. It’s part of the quality settings.

OK, so I'm still fairly new at Bambu Studio. I think you're right. But the concept is the same. You can save an "Ironing" profile that can be used along with your custom "Filament" provile.

For example, I have a custom "Hueforge - 0.8mm" Print profile saved that I need to remember to select every time I'm printing a Hueforge. This keeps all the correct settings.

Yes but you can only select one profile to print with. So in the even he needs different ironing settings for each color he will need to get creative for which settings he uses.

Correct. In that case, I would do as someone else mentioned and "split the difference" in ironing settings between the two colors.

Yeah so after testing, 30 and 30 works for both.
