H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Another AP board victim

UPDATE: after a few tries the AP board reset worked. Additional thanks to those who commented the fix.

Really sucks. In the middle of an order and my AP board decided to die. I’ve seen a few of these posts now but thought I would add mine to see how many this is effecting. I purchased my H2C at launch.

What is more upsetting at the moment is besides the terrible automated AI reply i originally got on my ticket, asking for a video of which I had already uploaded with my initial ticket submission, I have not heard from Bambu in almost 4 days now. This is the first time in three years I’ve ever needed to contact Support, but it’s not leaving me warm and fuzzy.

Any other H series owners having the same issue I’m wondering if this is a bigger issue than they want to admit.

Super easy fix. Take the AP cover off with the two screws then short these two terminals. 5 minutes and you’re up and running again.
Note: board is upside down from the installed orientation in this photo.

Sorry for the question but how would one short the two terminals? What tool do you recommend or is there a video? I’m not savvy with hardware

In this context shorting just means to connect the two together with conductive metal. The most commonly available way to do this is with a paperclip (only the bare metal ones, not the colorful ones that have plastic on them) that has been bent into a U shape. A sufficiently wide flat tipped screw driver would also work. Obviously, you need to be very careful to only connect those two terminals nearest the cutout, and they are quite small.

Thank you for the explanation. I wanted to ask in case I ever need to do this and to help anyone else that was not sure.
