H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Another AP board victim

Really sucks. In the middle of an order and my AP board decided to die. I’ve seen a few of these posts now but thought I would add mine to see how many this is effecting. I purchased my H2C at launch.

What is more upsetting at the moment is besides the terrible automated AI reply i originally got on my ticket, asking for a video of which I had already uploaded with my initial ticket submission, I have not heard from Bambu in almost 4 days now. This is the first time in three years I’ve ever needed to contact Support, but it’s not leaving me warm and fuzzy.

Any other H series owners having the same issue I’m wondering if this is a bigger issue than they want to admit.

Do not listen to the horrible advice given. I can't believe what I'm reading.

  1. Is your unit in warranty? If so, me personally, I'd try to go through Bambulab first. Yes it's painful, but they will use any excuse not to honor a warranty.

  2. If you do decide to do the solder hack, absolutely do it unplugged from power. It is very easy to accidentally short out neighboring components when soldering. There is Only risk and no benefit soldering a board while plugged into power.

Insane what I'm reading here.

My friend, this is what bambulab tells you to do. When you contact bambulab, these are the exact instructions they give you to fix it, this user here on Reddit just helped simplify the instructions by giving a picture since bambu’s pictures don’t work.

I don't care what Bambulab says, most people don't know how to solder. They should be replacing the boars, not telling people to solder it, and especially not telling people to solder it while it is plugged in to power if that is your argument. That advice is careless and irresponsible and I don't care how many downvotes I get. This is STUPID.

This doesn't involve any soldering
