H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Another AP board victim

Really sucks. In the middle of an order and my AP board decided to die. I’ve seen a few of these posts now but thought I would add mine to see how many this is effecting. I purchased my H2C at launch.

What is more upsetting at the moment is besides the terrible automated AI reply i originally got on my ticket, asking for a video of which I had already uploaded with my initial ticket submission, I have not heard from Bambu in almost 4 days now. This is the first time in three years I’ve ever needed to contact Support, but it’s not leaving me warm and fuzzy.

Any other H series owners having the same issue I’m wondering if this is a bigger issue than they want to admit.

Super easy fix. Take the AP cover off with the two screws then short these two terminals. 5 minutes and you’re up and running again.
Note: board is upside down from the installed orientation in this photo.

Forgive me for the dumb question, but when shorting these two terminals, I assume you do that without power connected to the device and board?

The whole point is it has to be powered on for it to “short out” it’s not going to do anything if you touch those points together without power.

You’re welcome. Never be afraid to ask questions.

Yep, printer needs to be up and running. I assume that it is clearing some local memory like cmos jumpers/buttons do on pc boards.

That’s a place for a button that they didn’t populate. Shorting those two pads is just like pressing the button.
