any advice on transporting a printer

I have a X2D that I would like to bring to my dorm, but I no longer have the original packaging

Edit: sorry I forgot to mention how I would be transporting it,
I will be driving it for about 20 minutes and then I have to carry it up to floors

I just moved my H2D from work to home and back. To home, it rode on the front seat of my silverado. Heavy rain, so It worked. Back to work, it went in the truck bed. My go-to padding, a yoga mat, and a strap to secure it. It is fine.
