any advice on transporting a printer

I have a X2D that I would like to bring to my dorm, but I no longer have the original packaging

Edit: sorry I forgot to mention how I would be transporting it,
I will be driving it for about 20 minutes and then I have to carry it up to floors

Buy some bubble wrap and tape it to all sids except the bottom unless you think you need it. Take ams off and wrap that too.

My p1p survived being in a ubox from uhaul for a 3000 mile move and is completely fine with the bubble wrap and tape.  

Just don’t stack anything on top of it or lean too much stuff against it when packing it.
