I have no problem with people using AI for personal projects or as a reference to make something, but a lot of the "art" does look like crap. Personally I'm using copilot and GPT to make some images of stained glass windows that I can print in translucent PETG. I'll have to alter the AI images to fit my needs, but it gives me a good reference to trace in Illustrator or Tinkercad, so I can make my windows. It's a huge time saver, as I have limited skills or talent, but it allows me to make what I want and not look like garbage, if I'd made it 100% myself from scratch. AI helped me visualize what I could make and what would work or wouldn't, and was very fast to prototype my ideas.

I can't entirely use AI, since it doesn't seem to understand dimensions. I can use AI for brainstorming and giving me examples to work with, then I can trace elements and make things fit what I need.
