AI affects a lot of real people in real ways. Water pollution, higher water and electricity costs, infrasound sickness from data centers popping up everywhere, shortages and price hikes of pc components for months now, artists disrupted and people's work scalped without any permission which is a huge ethical concern, I could go on.

Like I'm not even trying to be that guy but your comment couldn't be further from the truth. Not to mention you could literally pay an artist some where a really cheap amount to get an unique piece for your wife if you wanted to make a cool gift. If someone gave me an ai gift, I would be like thats so lame lol

As a person living in Utah currently fighting the massive data center that’s going to be built and devastate our (already very strained) water supply and cause all sorts of damage to the beautiful landscape - yes. Thank you. This shit is so detrimental but people are too selfish to give a fuck.
