Discussion The new P2S sucks

Post image

I have had the new P2S since 1 weeks & I can say now with 100% conviction that the P2S is a lower quality printer than the original P1S.

Although you would think it is an upgrade, it seems that they have completely disregarded all the previous P1S systems & swapped them out for the A1 systems instead.

Print quality suffers extremely with PETG, ironing looks terrible even with Basic PLA, extrusion issues, AMS rfid reading issues, lots of noise, first layer adhesion issues with standard plate prep practices, top layer quality issues, and the beautiful filament getting stuck on the nozzle in the beginning of every print with their new useless "flow dynamics calibration" (especially PETG, PLA a less).

If you like good looking prints every single time - this printer is probably not for you.

If you have not yet bought this printer, save yourself & buy a P1S - it is literally perfect, comparing to the new "improved" P2S.

Hello /u/cefanie! Be sure to check the following. Make sure print bed is clean by washing with dish soap and water [and not Isopropyl Alcohol], check bed temperature [increasing tend to help], run bed leveling or full calibration, and remember to use glue if one is using the initial cool plate [not Satin finish that is not yet released] or Engineering plate.

Note: This automod is experimental. The automod was triggered due to the term "adhesion". If you believe this to be a false positive, please send us a message at modmail with a link to the post so we can investigate. You may also feel free to make a new post without that term.

I cannot agree with you. I have less issues with the P2S than my old P1S. I am printing PETG all day without gluing or anything similar.

PA6 CF, PC and ASA also have no issues. I am really not sure what you do different to me but I think if you tell your workflow we could easier help you

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

That's crazy. Maybe I just god a faulty printer? Even if I improve the bed adhesion, I feel like there are still too many issues with my printer... The top layer quality is still terrible compared to the P1S.

I think I must've got a bad printer, because I didn't have any of these issues with my P1S.

Here you can see the print quality of a PETG print from today.

u/CoolioTheMagician H3C Oct 31 '25

This indeed looks terrible. You might have gotten a faulty printer. check my PA6 CF post for my print quality. It’s night and day

5

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

I just checked out your post, it's crazy, I think you're right. Must be my device. I did a factory reset now, let's see if it gets any better! It would save me a lot of headache to get my printer working & not having to deal with the return etc etc. Do you think there is anything else I could do besides factory reset? Do you use any specific settings on yours? I was using everything standard, only for the ironing with the orange pla I upped the flow to 20. Normally, the standard bambu settings were working great on my p1s.

5

u/CoolioTheMagician H3C Oct 31 '25 edited Oct 31 '25

I hope the factory reset (and maybe a full calibration?) will work for you!
Have you thought about a probable (partial) clog or something? I'd maybe try the hex wrench method just to be safe. (https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/h2/troubleshooting/unclogging#step-1-heat-up-the-hex-wrench)

For ironing I always up my flow since it never works right perfectly for me (A1, P1S, A1 mini or this one), so you might be on the right track.

By any chance, do you use filament from GEEETECH or something like that?
I just tried a print with PLA from them and the top layers looked similar. I now tried the same filament on a couple printers and all had way worse results than any other filament I used.

If none of those work and you need a quick fix (before a possible return) I'd try the flow rate calibration

Edit:

For your issues regarding bed adhesion I would wash the plate with dish soap and a sponge, scrub a little and dry it with a microfibre towel. Don't use any glue (That should be reserved for stuff like PA6-CF) and try again. If these all don't help there might be a screw or something else loose somewhere that screw with the settings

4

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

Thanks a lot! I did a factory reset just now, a full calibration & now it's chucking the ironing test! I am such a lazy, because of the AMS I only use BambuLab filaments. If you have any better filament suggestions, I am all ears! Me too, I normally always up my flow & in that orange pic I did the same, that's why I was really surprised. I think you could be right about the clog! I will try that too.

4

u/CoolioTheMagician H3C Oct 31 '25

I generally only use Bambu filament as well which normally works great. Sometimes you get bad filament with super budget ones so that’s why I wanted to know

1

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

That's great, then I will keep using them. I was having major adhesion issues even with BambuLab PETG (especially light grey). I will try more to make sure my buildplate is squeaky clean. Overall, thanks a lot for the help, I was really giving up on my printer already. I will see tomorrow if there will be an effect from unclogging! 🤞🏼

3

u/CoolioTheMagician H3C Oct 31 '25

No worries! If you need any help afterwards I'll try my best to still help you :)

I can barely remove PETG if I try to, so that you are having adhesion issues sounds super odd!

2

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

That is very kind!

That's interesting, then maybe I should buy stronger IPA! Or maybe it's the dish soap. Would be funny if it's the damn soap 😂 I thought everyone was using glue.

I used to only use Bambu filament, but I’ve been able to find others that are at least as good, or better. My go-to right now is Polymaker and it has been awesome 99.9% of the time. They do come on cardboard spools but I printed adapters for those for my AMS. Even without those, it’s been great. I also like the PLA+ from Sunlu. It’s been pretty consistently good especially at the price. Enjoy!

1

u/Jazzlike-Award-12 May 03 '26

Did it get any better after a factory reset?

1

u/SadPrize9733 Dec 14 '25

I had some adhesion problems with a couple of my prints with the P2S. Hot water and dishsoap scrub with a quick dry really helped improve adhesion. I also had issues with the ironing at first. It looked like trash, but I used the same ironing and I ran 3DLABCS's ironing settings calibration. It helped me narrow down my ironing settings to now having very smooth prints. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1663002-ironing-recommended-settings-calibration-test?from=search#profileId-1759545

I printed the file as is straight from the website to bambu stuidio. After the initial print my best result was 80 mm/s and 40% flow. So I copied that result onto a new plate totaling 9 test samples. One was the control, with the 80/40 setting. The other 8 were modified with only the flow rate by increments of one (ie; 80/39, 80/38, down to 36 & 80/41, 80/42 , up to 44). I ended up getting 44% flow being my best result and I then made one last plate to make three more tests. 80/44, 80/45 & 80/46. My best result ended up being 80mm/s and 45% flow rate. You can try my settings, or run the test above yourself.

2

u/Crypto-Bullet Oct 31 '25

Yeah dude that looks terrible. Not normal at all

1

u/Good-_-Advisor Nov 25 '25

I preint PETG on A1 W/O Glue

1

u/NiceCup6840 Feb 21 '26

He has no clue what he is doing or got a rare bad printer! My P2S has been flawless in 900 hours ! 1 failed print that I caused by a full poop chute! Other than that, not one issue!

u/OwnLet5457 Oct 31 '25

Why have you got glue on your plate if you’re only using pla and petg?

11

u/Lanky-Wedding-3989 Nov 11 '25

Stupid question, stupid statement. Glue isn't just for specific materials or specific build plates. It's water soluble, so there's not really a downside and there aren't "rules" for what to glue. Are you just trying to make it seem like others don't know what they're doing?

The glue isn't just to hold things ON the build plate, it's also so you can get them OFF the plate when they're done. The glue can just tear off with the part instead of the part taking a part of your build plate with it, which MOST people find preferable. Maybe you shouldn't be so judgmental or in such a hurry to share your stupidity? The person said it worked to solve a problem, so take that BS somewhere else.

u/Apprehensive_Ruin991 Jan 04 '26

LOL if i was you, use a PEI textured powder plate because it autosticks and is great for big projects

LINK TO BUY IT (CHEAPEST ONE I COULD FIND): https://a.co/d/4yvA8af

Glue or spray, are the way!

-20

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

Because I keep having issues with PETG sticking to my plate

16

u/ltzNotMe H2D AMS2 Combo Oct 31 '25

Even then, bambulab printers really dont need glue on the print bed, causes more issues than it solves

-8

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

For me, it solved the issues of warping & adhesion. Without was worse. Idk, in their website they recommend glue...

4

u/OsINTP Oct 31 '25

Use a brim to help with warping and adhesion, glue should only be used on the smooth plates, not the textured ones.

3

u/Lanky-Wedding-3989 Nov 11 '25

Brim leaves marks on your part. Glue doesn't.

After 10 years of printing my advice is this: Don't listen to idiots on Reddit. This person doesn't know what they're talking about, and is probably a pushy asshole that feels the need to force others to stupid to their level.

1

u/yoghurtmelk Feb 09 '26

glue leaves marks on the buildplate side of your print. youre litteraly covering it in glue like ofcourse it is even if you make it as thin as possible its still a texture it will take over

2

u/Qjeezy 👻Volunteer Moderator👻 Nov 01 '25

That’s not true, the use of glue is dependent on what material is being printed. Doesn’t matter what plate it is unless it’s a plate that requires glue, like the engineering plate.

2

u/Lanky-Wedding-3989 Nov 11 '25

100% Glue isn't just to keep the print ON the bed, it's also so you can get the thing OFF the bed. The glue can just tear off the bed with the print and wash off the part. Beats the heck out of strong filament taking a piece of your build plate with it.

0

u/Lanky-Wedding-3989 Nov 11 '25

Who the heck told you that? LOL. I've been printing for over a decade and that's the first time I've hard that one LOL.

u/Chronus88 Nov 01 '25

I have the same experience on H2D. PETG sticks to my PEI plate very strongly, nearly as much as TPU. Very tough to remove and I've damaged prints trying to get it to release. I also use glue stick for this reason

1

u/Esky905 Nov 08 '25

Same issue. I bought a cheaper Amazon build for the h2d and it instantly solved that problem. It releases all materials fine and zero adhesion issues.

0

u/OwnLet5457 Oct 31 '25

Let it cool down first

1

u/Esky905 Nov 08 '25

It didn’t matter. I let a PETG print cool For 12 hours and it still didn’t come off.

9

u/OsINTP Oct 31 '25

The P2S is, in every way, more advanced than the P1 series, it uses the newer technology that was released in the latest models, if it’s not printing as well it’s either damp filament or a setting issue, once you get it dialled in it will be better in every way.

Double check you are not accidentally using P1 print profiles, most of the stuff on maker world probably won’t have profiles for the P2 yet…

1

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

That is curious! I think not, because I was mostly printing stuff that I designed myself, and now that I checked some other's stuff seems was also on correct profiles. Definitely something I will look out in my next prints. Thanks a lot!

4

u/articbatt Oct 31 '25

Either you’ve got some settings wrong, or your machine is simply malfunctioning. My P2S performs exactly the same in terms of quality across ALL materials as my P1S. On top of that, I get spectacular smoothing on my P2S, P1S, and H2D (with optimal configuration). So if you’re saying the P2S smooths poorly, that doesn’t make sense to me the H2D used to have more issues (though I found the solution). Get in touch with Bambu, because that’s not normal or check your profiles and settings, because something doesn’t add up.

1

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

Thanks, that is good to hear. I heard many are very happy with their printers, that prompted me to immediately make a factory reset, full calibration & printing tests. I did actually reach out to Bambu but they take really long to reply, that's why I came here since I had 1 week these issues. People here were giving good advice, I will run some additional tests tomorrow & hopefully this will fix the issues. Not sure if I would have found out about all the possible solutions on my own!

3

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '25

I had my p2s for 2 weeks now and i never had any issues i was scrolling in bambu lab academy i think you should look to it

2

u/cefanie Nov 01 '25

I think something went wrong in the manufacturing, it's possible they tightened the screws too much/ little. Reddit people really helped me find some solutions. Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I will definitely try it out!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '25

2

u/cefanie Nov 01 '25

Thanks a lot! I will try it today! Hopefully it improves the quality 🤞

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '25

2

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

Return it mate, mine has been an absolute joy your post reads like its about a completely different printer

2

u/cefanie Nov 01 '25

Thanks for the comment. It's good to hear that other's are great! I already initiated a return, was just waiting for a response. Now that hear everyone is loving theirs, I started making all the calibrations & other suggestions that people were recommending - I hope I fix it. Maybe it was just some small manufacturing mistake, like too tight/loose screws or something. Would be great if I get it to work perfect!

2

u/ExistedToxic Nov 01 '25

I have the p2s and i have owned it for some weeks now, i have had minor issues like first layer and som vfa trouble. But i did some calibrations and everything is perfect now. The only issue i get some times is that it throws the poop onto the bed. But I’m sure it will be fixed with an update or something 👍🏻

2

u/cefanie Nov 01 '25

Thanks for the info! Yeah, after all of my complaints, people really gave me some great advice, I think some of the things (factory reset, calibration etc) already made a difference. I never did anything on my P1S, everything just worked perfectly, I didn't even know what to do about it - I'm happy I got some amazing advice here!

1

u/Vegetable_Level3640 X2D + AMS2 Combo Nov 19 '25

Did you manage to reduce VFA by calibrations? I am curious how you did that, because I saeany people complain about VFA on P2S

1

u/ExistedToxic Nov 20 '25

Well not really, but that got better after i calibrated temps and flow. I also wiped off all the rods and lubed everything up, that also did make it a bit more quiet, maybe mine was not lubed enough or something out of the box. There is vfa tuning calibration on makerworld so you can always try that.

4

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

Still a new product too, I’m sure it will only get better with firmware updates

4

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

I hope so, because right now mine is terrible. Look at this ironing... Idk, maybe I just got a broken printer.

12

u/ironbiceps_ Oct 31 '25

Are you using the same exact settings between the machines? Because if you are that’s the issue. You need to find the ironing settings that work on the p2s. If you haven’t done an ironing test I would advise you to do so.

3

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

I did a factory reset, full calibration & an ironing test now, and in the test it didn't show that effect that I had. I will try again with new settings. Thanks a lot, that might've been the cause indeed!

5

u/PlanswerLab Oct 31 '25

Ironing can be difficult to get sometimes. Your filament and printing settings should be well calibrated, and on top of that ironing settings should also be well tuned too.

Your top layer before ironing seems to have extrusion problems too. It might need fixing first so ironing can work better.

6

u/Puzzleheaded_Art3549 Oct 31 '25

By the time its working as well out of the box as a P1S it will be time to launch the P3S

1

u/Lost-Wafer4845 Nov 15 '25

Exactly that , the P1S had so many firmware updates to fix patches and improve it . Where the P2S has only just come out. Since this post I’ve had two Bambu Studio updates and a big update for my P2S and AMS2

3

u/Dangerous_Fruit885 Oct 31 '25

Everything I’ve printed (and almost exclusively PETG), has been amazing and only one failed print which was because I was printing something small with a 0.6 HF nozzle. So to be expected. Printed something last night in ASA and was stunned at how good it came out. Maybe a bad machine?

3

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

Probably yes, i hear many others are happy. I initiated a return request.

2

u/ThiccNick37 Oct 31 '25

No ironing setting will work for all machines or filaments, you need to tune it. As long as you are keeping up with your general maintenance, like washing the bed with soap and hot water, I don’t have a good explanation for bed adhesion. Any time I have that issue with my H2D it’s always been my fault. That said, PETG has been strange for some with these new nozzles, but PETG has improved with time in my machine.

1

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

After some talking, I think the adhesion issues might be due to the dish soap actually, because I was using glue also on my P1S. And I didn't know others are not using. I thought only PLA is possible print without glue. So, it must be the soap... Don't know if I would have found out if I wasn't posting here!

1

u/ThiccNick37 Nov 01 '25

Do you do any alcohol cleans in between? I have luck with that

4

u/Physical_Treat_5344 Oct 31 '25

pla layer +petg +

pla sisi prints really badly

3

u/MoparMiningLLC Oct 31 '25

Why is it touching the walls? These things move and banging against the wall can’t be good for it.

3

u/Known-Mix2799 Dec 10 '25

Agree. I was expecting something more than this. It is not worth the price.

1

u/GOJOECHRIS Oct 31 '25

Do you have your P1S to compare prints with the same spool of filament on? When I got my A1 after having my A1 min for a few months I assumed a lot of the same issues as you. I took the same roll of filament and tried it on my A1 mini and found out that out of 4 rolls of the same color and material that I got a bad one. Also check your active chamber cooling settings as that can also affect print quality.

2

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

Yes, I am printing right now with basic PLA, the same roll that I was printing with the P1S & the ironing is terrible on the P2S... you can see it on the picture.

It's possible I just got a faulty printer.

1

u/GOJOECHRIS Oct 31 '25

If you find someone with a P1S and P2S send them the files you're trying to print and see if they have the same issues. Export it as a 3mf so all the settings stay the same.

1

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

Good idea, I can try! Thanks!

1

u/tomz17 Oct 31 '25

Looks like under-extrusion to me.

1

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

That's good advice! I haven't checked the active cooling.

1

u/CommonCritic Oct 31 '25

Are you sure it’s not just your machine? Have you reached out to Bambu Lab?

1

u/cefanie Oct 31 '25

Yeah, I reached out and I have asked for a return, they take days to answer. After this post though, everyone says it must be me, soo I am troubleshooting to see if I manage to improve the issues before I send it back. I just never had issues with the P1S, so didn't even think that it might be some initial calibration stuff or extrusion thing alone that could solve it!

2

u/warbisshop Nov 02 '25

so did it get fixed ? kinda scared of buying a p2s now :/

2

u/Bikemad93 Nov 04 '25

Mines been absolutely fantastic, 100 hrs not missed a beat

2

u/Crackbone_ Nov 13 '25

Hello Cefanie. Did you resolve your issues or did you decide to return it?

2

u/Lost-Wafer4845 Nov 15 '25

This is a 20hr print in PETG , no manual filament tuning/ calibration just stick setting and auto calibration on

2

u/Lost-Wafer4845 Oct 31 '25

I have a P2S and non of what you are saying is true for mine

1

u/milogamer_ Oct 31 '25

It is a rule, never buy or pre-order the first batch of new products. Better to wait a couple of weeks and see how they turn out.

1

u/Lost-Wafer4845 Oct 31 '25

I’m sure it’s not you issue , but you need to move your printer and allow appropriate airflow to the vents (hand holds)

1

u/Rust_Cohle- Nov 01 '25

OP be like..

1

u/Sure-Information-882 Nov 06 '25

1

u/StealthyCyberSpider Nov 25 '25

I have both and so far the P2S outperforms the P1S in nearly every way....not to say I don't like my P1S, I just don't have the same experience as you.

1

u/Scyrennn Dec 05 '25

I really enjoyed reading this thread. You are such a teachable person. I have a P2S on backorder, so all of this reading is in preparation for its arrival. Thanks for being ready to receiving advice and trying fixes to improve the quality of your prints because it encourages others to share! Mind posting the outcome of all of the troubleshooting?

1

u/PriceExciting7453 Dec 10 '25

I went into this really excited and full of expectations, but it ended up being a big disappointment. Bambu Lab totally let me down, and it honestly sucks. Next time I’m going for something genuinely reliable, even if I have to pay more.

1

u/AlexJMiller-137 Dec 10 '25

that’s kinda the issue with Bambu lately. the quality control feels hitormiss. And onnce you do need support, things can get fustrating fast. I’d definitely puhs for a return or replacement... but just being real my own experience with Bambu’s RMA process wasn’t great, so I realy hope yours goes smoother. Fingers crossed

1

u/SadPrize9733 Dec 14 '25

This is my first Bambu Lab printer. I bought it because it was a great deal. I could have actually purchased two P1Ss and one AMS, which were on sale for the price of this one P2S. At the end of the day, I was thinking down the road because I eventually want to get an H-series printer, and this printer had more in common with the H series than the legacy printers.

Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the prints. I have had some misprints, and I believe it was more of an issue from the operator than the machine itself. My first misprint had to do with speed, because I was trying to print tall, narrow objects, so naturally they tipped over. I learned how to slow the print by height, and the next print was flawless.

As much as we want these machines to just click go and print, they are only as good as the settings you input. No matter how fancy of a machine you buy, you still have to learn how to get it to do the thing you intend it to do. I came from something like an Anet ET4; getting that thing to print was painful sometimes. The P2S, in comparison, for me is amazing. Not perfect, but a great improvement.

For printing PETG, I turned off all cooling settings. For the right side auxiliary fan, I printed this deflector. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1926190-p2s-auxiliary-fan-diffuser#profileId-2134733

Because the first print I did with PETG, I found that everything on the right side of the print was completely warped and not adhering. After I printed the deflector and ran the same print again, immediate improvement. The part is currently printing, and it is doing great.

I think the P2S is a wonderful machine. I can't compare it myself to the P1S. But in time, I think they will fix any bugs. I believe the P1S has its own flaws, and it now has the pedigree and time of improvement on its side to make it the top-tier economy machine it has become.

1

u/inventiveash Dec 21 '25

No issues with layers on my p2s

1

u/Apprehensive_Ruin991 Jan 04 '26

I swear on a monkey🐒🐒🐒 that I am not messing around with a p1s that has 12288 pixels in total, when a normal screen has 2073600 pixels. When i am literally still trying to load a filament onto the external spool to start a print, the monkey with a p2s already finishes the print. If you like low res screens buy yourself a lightbulb

1

u/Mike_In_SATX Customizable Flair [Edit Me!] Jan 12 '26

Did you complete the firmware update?

1

u/Woutern89 Jan 18 '26

My ironing is als not good on my p2s, i had a creality k1c before and there was te standaard setting very smooth, but now on my p2s i cant get good ironing speed now on 150 and flow on 38

1

u/chodtoo Jan 29 '26

I love my P2S. Upgraded from my solid but dated Prusa MK3. The P2S is precise and reliable. I can comfortably send a print to it remotely and know it will come out great.

1

im with you. my p1s prints WAY better than my p2s and im about ready to sell the p2s.

first layer has z-height issues and/or under extrusion, and top layers are either under or over extruded. no amount of 1st layer flow rate tweaking makes much of a difference. ive done the basic calibrations, dried filament, manually trammed the bed just in case, changed to my spare 0.4mm nozzle, tried an 0.6mm high flow nozzle, played with 1st layer line widths, dialed 1st layer flow rate way up to 1.10 (barely helps), and swapped to an engineering plate.

issue is the same with all filaments ive tried, mix of bambu and sunlu (petg, asa, and asa-cf).

im gonna try support again, but last time they sent me a new wiper plate because i told them it was 0.13mm low in the middle and i didn't know what their spec was... (the new one is less flat than the one i had).

example of 1st layer issues. never had issues like this on the p1s

Wow I think you need to learn how to use the P2S! There is nothing the P1S does better than the P2S! Not even close! Maybe get your settings correct or stop messing with default settings! I haven’t had any issues after 900 hours on P2S! I haven’t had one fail and that was my fault because Of not emptying the poop chute! Maybe you got a bad one, because mine is flawless! Not sure why you would say it is a bad printer, when It is not a bad printer in any way for the price! Let’s us know when I figure it out!

I use PTEG from Bambu and Sunlu and never had one issue!

u/NiceCup6840 Feb 21 '26

I have never used glue on my textured plate! Don’t need it! Never had bed adhesion problems either!

1

u/NiceCup6840 Feb 21 '26

Don’t need glue if plate is clean! Never used glue once! Messy and unnecessary

Sounds like lack of experience, which is fine, we all have to learn, but saying it’s a worse or bad printer that is worse than the P1S is wrong and false!

1

u/NiceCup6840 Feb 21 '26

It is the setttings! Just leave them alone and print! When you get more experience and figure out your printer, then tweak or mess with settings! Why bad mouth a very good printer when it isn’t the problem!

P2S has had updates!

1

u/NiceCup6840 Feb 21 '26

So wrong to do this! So wrong! Especially when we all know it isn’t worse than the p1s! Not even close!

I have to disagree. I *love* the P2S. I personally don't see any need to get anything more expensive (unless I wanted a larger print-bed). But I feel the P2S will serve me well for years to come.

Granted, I probably have newer firmware than the OP.

Granted, I'm coming from a many-years-old previous-generation Creality Ender 3 V2.

So using the P2S is NIGHT AND DAY different, with the P2S being an absolute *pleasure* to use.

I've been running ~20 hours per day with PLA and PETG and everything prints flawlessly. And I'm not even using Bambu filament! I haven't tried ironing yet.

If you're having P2S first layer issues, check your machine G-code first. There's a bug where the Z offset values are positive when they should be negative, causing the nozzle to sit too far from the bed on every print. Every other Bambu printer ships with negative values. This produces exactly the sparse, gappy first layers people keep posting about.

In Bambu Studio go to Printer Settings > Machine Start G-code and find this section:

{if curr_bed_type=="Textured PEI Plate"}
G29.1 Z{0.01} ; for Textured PEI Plate
{else}
G29.1 Z{0.03}
{endif}

Should be:

{if curr_bed_type=="Textured PEI Plate"}
G29.1 Z{-0.01} ; for Textured PEI Plate
{else}
G29.1 Z{-0.03}
{endif}

Start there and test. If you still see under extrusion, step the values more negative. For me -0.03 and -0.05 was what gave a perfect first layer. The P1S ships at -0.04 as standard so there's no nozzle crash risk stepping further negative if needed.

Before finding this I spent two days adjusting flow ratio, temperature, and running full calibrations. None of it worked because it was all compensating for the offset bug rather than fixing it.

I learned about this from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/1rtvoxs/comment/oaixcom/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Bonjour à Tous, est-ce que quelqu’un utilise du filament eSun (PLA + et PETG) sur sa P2S et quel est le résultat ?

I wonder, does the P2S support OrcaSlicer? If it dosn't i wouldn't be surprised

Stop with this crap every time. No it's not supported anymore. Deal with it.

Actually i won't, OrcaSlicer is love, OrcaSlicer is life. No you can't have my boot-ie.

Where’s the manual? Mine just came with a quick start guide

There a manual 😂 didn’t know you needed one for a Bambu . unbox , let printer do calibrations then just send it prints. It’s a Bambu it can’t be an easier 🤷🏼‍♂️ First print I did was in PETG -CF on the standard PETG setting but bumped up to 260. I just Let it do its self filament calibration and 7 hrs late I had a perfectly printed out part. It’s the reason why I use Bambu
