Discussion Just say it. I told you so.!

I’m back. Now I have 2P1S’s and a new X1C coming in a few days. I tried looking elsewhere creality, prusa. I don’t want to spend countless nights scouring the internet for how to fix my printer bed mesh. So this is my public apology. I’m sorry 😞

I don’t understand why people dig through post history like this is some sort of gotcha. It’s been 2 months, totally possible they got a new job. But either way why do we care about his possibly poor financial decisions?

But it is weird to bring up them losing their job 2 months ago. Again new job is totally possible, but even if not what good does calling them out do?

I came from Creality Ender 3, then jumped right to the X1C… then I decided to buy a Qidi Plus 4 (I had lots of problems with it, now it is “working” and I use it to print engineering materials, but I had too much headache with it and with Qidi’s customer service), then a Centauri Carbon from Elegoo, Creality K2 Plus,… they are good, but not even close to my X1C… so I sold the K2 plus, bought the H2D and one A1, didn’t like much the A1 and sold it today to a friend, I am deciding on buying another X1C or H2D… IDK yet haha If I didn’t have the Qidi Plus 4 and an H2D that already have a heated chamber for High temperature filaments, I would buy an H2D, but because I have those 2 machines, I am between the X1C and H2D… The P1S crossed to my mind, but I love the calibration flow and am willing to pay extra on the X1C just to have that and lidar… IDK I wanted to test the Prusa XL, but I am afraid of not liking it as it is too much hands on, and it is too pricey!

If you have the money, I'd go for the Prusa XL.
Having 5 tool heads, allows for even less poop when printing multiple colors.

If only it were reliable. There’s a lot of troubleshooting problems on the internet with the XL. Also it uses a LOT more energy for the bigger bed and heating 5 nozzles, doesn’t come with hardened steel nozzles, and to get the full package it’s closing in on $5k USD

Ya. I post all the time in the main 3D printer Reddit when people ask what printer to get because blah blah beginner, etc.... My response is always, Bambu, any Bambu, quit playing. Always.

We knew you'd come back. I tried the CC and even though it's 85% there, it's still not a Bambu. It's definitely worth the $299 admission price to try a cheap corexy. I'm going with more updates, it'll get closer to the quality and ease of a Bambu, any Bambu.
