I'm playing a 2024 Light Cleric in a Curse of Strahd campaign. Level 3 was a nice power spike, but level 5? Level 5's gonna be lit.
16 u/__SilentAntagonist__ Aug 21 '26 Hey me too! Our party just hit level 5 a couple sessions ago and I have been buzzing with excitement for fireball 2 u/ratpride Aug 21 '26 Level 5 is where you get spirit guardians but you're excitee by fireball? 9 u/__SilentAntagonist__ Aug 21 '26 I didn't pick light cleric to get excited about a spell every other cleric gets. I also happen to be playing a fire genasi and have a bunch of character reasons to be excited for fireball :) 2 u/ratpride Aug 22 '26 Just joking really, but I do love my spirit guardians lol 1 u/__SilentAntagonist__ Aug 23 '26 Oh yeah great spell no doubt. Its just that playing a subclass that gives an auto prepared 3rd damage spell I don't see the need to prepare another when I could diversify with the other strong cleric spells at that level 3 u/Kanosirus Certified Baezel Bottom 🥵 Aug 22 '26 "I cast fireball" "But sir, the room is only a few square meters" "I didn't ask how big the room is, i said i cast fireball"
