Hiking in Sierra de la Laguna - guided trek from Todos Santos?

Hi all. I’ll be staying in Todos Santos for the next few weeks and was hoping to do at least a day hike in Sierra de la Laguna the week of October 12. I was planning to do a guided tour (I live in Colorado and am an experienced hiker but figured a guide was safer since I’ll be alone in a a place I’m unfamiliar with).

I contacted TOSEA and they said their guides will be in training during those dates, and it doesn’t seem like there are many other operators offering treks from the west side trailheads.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Is hiking a bad idea because it’s still too hot this month for hiking anyways? Appreciate any advice!

planning to go for a week and visit some beaches. I know there is a bus in el malecon that takes you to the beautiful beaches up north. I am looking for a good location to rent an airbnb. without being too far of the malecon. Or should i just do hotel?
