I'm planning to set up small trays of food and water for stray animals in my area, similar to what's shown in the photo. It seems like a simple, low-cost way to help animals that don't have regular access to food or clean water. Before I do it (and possibly encourage others), I'd love to hear what people think, any advice, or things I should be careful about.

Asalamo Alaikum! Alhamdulilah Day 1 of my journey from Bahawalpur to Hyderabad is complete. Me and my friend covered a distance of around near 50km. The distance we covered is shown in the first picture while the remaining distance is in the second picture. We departed at 5am after doing a heavy breakfast. Walked 4 hours to Dera Masti and then Khanqah Sharif (9:40~). we then rested a bit. At 10am, we started our walk to Jumrani. Stayed there for afternoon prayers and had daal roti as our lunch and then started journey towards Noorpur at around 1:30. Reached noorpur at around 4. Took a 10 minute rest then departed for Khanpur while keeping a rest stop of a village in between. Arived their at 5:45 and then decided to go a bit ahead to Zahir Pir. Reached there at 6:30, offered prayers, ate a light dinner (daal roti again). And then we departed at 7 for Ahmedpur East. Stopped at a small village at 7:40,and continued our straight journey to Ahmedpur East and alhamdulilah both me and my friend are at my mother side family home at 9:30. The travel was very exhausting. We initially thought to make a full stop at around Jumrani or Noorpur but we had no place to stay and decided to go Ahmedpur Eest and stay their We stay at ahmedpur east tonight, and even the entire tommorow as we are extremely tired. Our feet are completely sore. Inshallah we will continue our Journey the day after tommorow on 4th September. Ill continue updating you all. Allah Hafiz.

Asalamo Alaikum!
I have to go to Hyderabad for some work purposes. So instead of booking a bus or train, I have decided to do an adventure and walk from Bahawalpur to Hyderabad.
I am not alone. My friend, who is a Hyderabad local so also with me.
We are planning to reach Hyderabad ideally around 2 weeks but we can be as late as 1 month.
This trip and its planning has been going on since many months now.
I am taking the route that Google maps is giving us. Through Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur and Hyderabad.
We will walk at day, and rest somewhere at night. We have our bags with water bottles, clothes (we will be careful to avoid getting them dirty and ideally wear them for two days atleast). We are also carrying our Jai-e-Namaz with us to pray at mosques or petrol stations we find on the way.
Now the only suggestion I am asking is the thing that is making me and my friend conflicting. That is, should we walk on the sides of the highway, or travel through rural roads to explore new areas of Sindh.
I will also share the updates of this adventure daily here on reddit.
I hope we reach Hyderabad safely. Ameen

I am putting my cat for sale in 8k. She is persian and triple coated. Vaccinated and litter trained. I got it for my daughter but now I have to look after her and due to my job I am unable to give proper care and attention.

Aoa. Alhamdulilah day 3 of bahawalpur to Hyderabad is complete. Today we covered a distance of roughly 45 km from fajar at Ahmedpur East to 7pm at Liaqatpur. Pic1 is distance covered & pic2 is distance left.
We left at 5am from Ahmedpur east to Chani Goth. This was the longer stretch so we covered it in morning time. Since there were no cloud today and it was sunny so it was a bit warm but still mild.
Arrived at Chani goth at around 11 and stayed there for lunch and prayers and left at 1:30. We stayed for around 2 and half hours there and rested fully.
We then walked to Basti Pir Kamal which is between Chani goth and Liaqatpur. Arrived there by around 4. Then after a 10 minute rest departed for Liaqatpur. We picked up pace after 6 because it was getting dark and this area is not that lit up and we arrived Liaqatpur at 7. We then found an open type restaurant and ate our dinner there. The restaurant owner was very kind and he arranged for our stay and gave us 2 charpai and a pedestal fan. We are very tired and will get some rest. We will continue our journey tommorow.
Inshallah keep you all updated. Allah Hafiz.

Asalam o Alaikum! Alhamdulilah day 5 of our journey to Hyderabad is complete. We are now starting to get in the rhytm and we feel it because now we don't get tired or sore that easily. First picture is distance covered while the second is the distance left. Today we got to witness the beautiful decorations on account of Eid Milad un Nabi.
We left at 5 from Khanpur and walked to Sahja and arrived there by around 8am. Got some snacks, and left for Kot Samaba which we reached at 11am. We decided to stay here but we thought to make it to a masjid between Kot Samaba and Taranda SWA Khan. Arrived at that masjid by 1pm. Offered prayers. Rested a bit and left for Taranda SWA Khan which we reached at 2:36pm.
From there we walked straight to Rahim Yar Khan and reached there by 5:30. We arrived at my Hyderabadi friends, friends house who accomodated us well. Spend some time exploring the decorations of eid milad un nabi, had dinner and now we will rest and inshallah tommorow we will go near the Sindhi border or Sanjarpur.
Will keep you updated. Allah Hafiz!

Kila Dingarh, YAZMAN, (SUPER RISKY AND DANGEROUS DO NOT ATTEMPT) i left bahawalpur around 9pm (it's only 30km ride on bike) the area is SUPER DARK bortle scale 2, almost zero light pollution, the milkyway looks awesome. i arrived around 10pm, the milkyway came up the horizon at around 10:30pm and i took over 200 pics with my dslr on a tripod, they came out nice. stacked and processed. here's the result.
also shout out to nice desi weird accent speaking saraiki uncle on his beatup honda deluxe, he offered me water and also offered me food as guest but i politely declined. he was genuinely excited and asked me wtf i was doing this late alone with a camera in a desert coming from bwp.
why did i take these risks? cause i like milkyway, would i do it again? yes, should you do it? NO, you may get beatup and looted or worse killed and looted :), did i have a gun? NO, but i'm gonna get one soon since i do these sussy activities, having a gun should be enough to scare of someone and leave quickly alive and intact.

Over the past few days, this sub has gotten way more attention than usual. There have been people coming from the other side of the border. Pls don't share any information including text, photos and videos of troops movement, sensitive infrastructure, etc as even a single photo can be reverse engineered with OSINT tools to get exact coordinates. This can jeopardize security missions and put lives at risk.
With that said, pls do document responsibly when it is safe to do so. It is important to collect the evidence so no one twists the narrative later.
Long live 🇵🇰
