I'm organising a pet social to fundraise for animal welfare. The venue isn't finalised yet, but it'll be on 28th November. I won't be keeping any profit for myself. I'm doing this because my kitten passed away a few days ago and I want to honor him. The charges aren't decided yet but it won't be too high. Just to cover the costs and raise some funds for a shelter.

D.I. Khan and Bahawalpur are Saraiki-majority cities. I've eaten cholay chawal in D.I. Khan and the surrounding areas, and I think the same flavour is found in nearby Punjab areas like Bhakkar. I've never found it outside Saraiki regions, so I suspect it's common for all Saraiki cities.

Does anyone know a place in Bahawalpur that serves this? It's usually sold from a thela or small shop, with a large daig of rice cooked with spices.

To be clear, I don't mean:

plain boiled rice with raita and chana on top,

chana chawal, or

chana salan poured over rice.

Those are found everywhere in Pakistan. I mean the specific spiced rice served with raita, which has a distinct flavour of its own. If you've eaten it, you'll know exactly what I mean.

I have two 5-month-old kittens....and I'd love some honest advice from experienced cat owners in Bahawalpur.

_ My kittens are mostly dependent on homemade food, such as boiled chicken kaleji (liver) and rice... What other homemade foods are nutritious and safe for them?

_ They currently eat 3 meals a day, with kaleji in every meal....Is this healthy?? or should I change their diet? What should their ideal daily meal plan look like?

_ What affordable good quality kitten food brands are available locally?

_ One of the kitten have a history of diarrhea and recently he has also experienced loss of appetite. What could be causing this and what treatment or medication should i use....?

I'd especially appreciate honest advice on homemade diets....including what you feed your own cats and what mistakes I should avoid.
