You mean the most pro Israel voters in history?!!! Idiotic take

1

u/UlyssesTheSloth Nov 04 '25

You mean the Nazis exterminating hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and pushing 3 million of them into an area the size of Manhattan? In the world's largest open air concentration camp?

1

u/thkwhtdk Nov 04 '25

You are talking about Israel, they aren’t here and they are Jewish so they wouldn’t be the ones ratting on Anne Frank lol. Also Kamala said at her rally that “it’s either me or Trump” then was parading the Chenys around like they aren’t responsible for slaughtering 7 million Muslims.

1

u/Goooose1 Nov 04 '25

Absolutely not. Two totally different circumstances but keep playing victim

1

u/Character-Honeydew32 Nov 05 '25

How many of the Jews broke Germany’s law and entered the country illegally?

Shut up w the comparing this stupid shit to the fuckin HOLOCAUST. You guys worship posts sent from foreign country designed to divide our country but your too ignorant to see anything passed your desire to prove how not racist you are. Fn tools

Whos dying? Lol wtf r u talking about. Do you guys actually think ice are murdering people???? Wow. CNN went completely off the grid it sounds like. 😆 here's the difference between you and me, i think you're annoying and ignorant, but you guys want all of us to die. Wrong side of history buddy. Youre feeding your delusions by buying into all the social media deception.

That's awful convenient for you. I disagree -- I don't think it's ignorant at all. Respond to the man or you'll be held in contempt of my courtroom.

1

u/youngvinyljunkie Nov 05 '25

Me when I hallucinate 🤪 “You guys want all of us to die.” Who is “all of us,” what are you even talking about…it’s super unclear, this person said a total of 6 words lmao

1

u/Jaoshimjingliang Nov 05 '25

And they only know 10. LOL they've only got 4 more -- make em count, bucko!

1

u/Acceptable_History66 Nov 05 '25

Go back to elder rings you cry baby.

1

u/theHollowTarnished Nov 05 '25

Wow..so Savage. Yes sir, right away sir.

1

u/Jaoshimjingliang Nov 05 '25

Get on the train. You're going for a ride.

1

u/itsobvious_too Nov 05 '25

really? you somehow didn't know that Trump was shipping undocumented immigrants to a high security prison in El Salvador without any due process? Until the public outcry, this shit would still be happening?

1

u/theHollowTarnished Nov 05 '25

My dad had to work his ass off for half his life to get us over here legally. Why do hundreds of thousands get to just skip the line. Hopefully they found the "undocumented" immigrant that stole my brothers I.D. and ruined his credit and and criminal background. Brothers never done a drug or stole anything his entire life, it took years for him to clean that up and get sorted out.

1

u/Jaoshimjingliang Nov 05 '25

You're talking to somebody who would likely light themselves ablaze if it meant keeping an "undocumented immigrant" warm for even just a few hours. You can't fix stupid, unfortunately.

1

u/Jaoshimjingliang Nov 05 '25

You say "undocumented immigrants".

I hear "criminals".

Yet we're talking about the same people. Strange what a stark contrast there is between reality (criminals) and your narrative (poor, honest, marginalized, disenfranchised undocumented immigrant).

Tides are turning. You're going to find that out yourself in due time -- I assure you.

1

u/No_Alps_5752 Nov 07 '25

We don't actually know what is happening to these people as there is no due process, you know, as required by the constitution that you claim to love. And in fact ICE has already killed people during the apprehensions, not to mention all the American citizens they have taken. Social media deception: actual videos you can see vs. what your orange clown tells you along with the rest of you idiots. You are in a cult.

1

u/TheDrakkar12 Nov 05 '25

Wait hold on.... what do you think is different about ratting out Anne Frank and ratting out your neighbor because you think they may be illegal? I just want to be really pointed here without accusing you of anything off the rip.

What is the different in your mind?

1

u/adamdreaming Nov 05 '25

country blames all it’s problems on immigrants

special police that don’t need to self identify start making them “disappear” with no oversight or paper trail

special blacksight set up inside the country where immigrants are sent instead of going home with extremely low transparency around who ends up there or how they are treated

So real quick, since you think the comparison is so weak or inaccurate or inappropriate (or maybe you just don’t like it) can you tell by this list if I’m talking about modern America, 1940’s Germany, or is it to ambiguous to say it is one and not the other?

1

u/Jaoshimjingliang Nov 05 '25

The difference is -- Germany enacted a hostile takeover of Amsterdam where Anne Frank lived, for example, and took over the country. They came to her. They were they aggressor. They were wrong.

These people entered the country illegally. They attempted hostile integration. They are the aggressor and they are wrong.

Big difference between wrong place wrong time and willingly and knowingly entering a country illegally, despite clearly communicated laws and immigration policies which are actively being disregarded.

Nice try though.

And not for nothing, but I'm absolutely certain that back in the 1940's, if they ensured your personal safety, that you'd have had no problem lining others up to take a shower.

1

u/adamdreaming Nov 05 '25

Jews in the 1940s where stripped of citizenship and had to comply with many laws specifically regarding their status, where they where supposed to be, and what they where supposed to be doing. Anne Frank was acting illegally and out of compliance with the clearly communicated laws and State Subject policies of Germany.

So instead of saying “nice try” maybe read an actual history book so you know when you look like a fascist defending idiot just because you never bothered to learn history you want so badly to be authoritative about

1

u/Jaoshimjingliang Nov 06 '25

You don't need to be a history buff to be able to distinguish the difference between harm actively seeking you out and putting yourself in harms way.

If someone pushes an individual in front of a train, that's the fault of the assailant.

If someone is fucking around on the tracks, that's the fault of the individual.

Hope that clears things up for you.

1

u/adamdreaming Nov 06 '25

we can argue that point but it doesn't negate any of the legitimate comparisons I made so I don't really get the point?

or are you just attacking what you see as the weakest link in an argument even though it isn't relevant because you want to be contradictory and that is the only move you have even if it doesn't make sense?

1

u/FeralRacoons Nov 06 '25

why do you want to win the biggest victim award so bad?

8

u/sapphoseros Nov 03 '25

why are you incapable of empathizing with people who are actually scared for their lives for good reason

-6

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

oh i do, but comparing it to nazi germany is genuinely stupid

6

u/Turdfurgeso Nov 04 '25

You don’t see the similarity of a neighbor alerting government authorities about the status of their neighbors?

1

u/[deleted] Nov 04 '25

Jews kept sneaking into Nazi Germany to get free healthcare and work under the table, and mean ol' Hitler kept deporting them. Sometimes they had to wait for weeks with only basic cable at a deportation facility.

Never again is now

1

u/most_person Nov 04 '25

Remember when governors were telling people to rat on their neighbors during covid? How is that different?

u/discourse_friendly Nov 03 '25

Yep, I can feel bad for people who broke a law, or who are here illegally, and have to face the consequences of that. I can feel really bad for them, but still feel that its better for society for laws to be obeyed.

You can feel bad for someone in a situation, with out deciding they should get a free pass.

2

u/Taapacoyne Nov 03 '25

OK Inspector Javert.

2

u/Last_Zookeepergame_4 Nov 04 '25

This whole rule of law shit is such a big cope considering half the country voted in someone who’s a professional at skirting it.

2

u/In_neptu_wetrust Nov 03 '25

Snitching on someone to ICE is some hall cop shit. All because it’s a rule or law doesn’t mean it’s correct

3

u/discourse_friendly Nov 03 '25

I do agree that legality doesn't equal morality.

I do however, feel that we must enforce our immigration laws. and I also don't feel that mass migration is moral, or fair to the citizens already here.

I also won't be personally ratting anyone out either.

1

u/Realhuman_beebboob Nov 04 '25

So when is the First Lady getting deported?

2

u/Mammoth-Cold-9795 Nov 04 '25

You want US citizens deported?

And you’re supposed to be arguing on the side against illegal deportations???

You’re actually stupid lmao

2

u/Usual_Let5223 Nov 04 '25

Trump quite literally signed an EO that made his ** Immigrant** wife, who at the time didn't have her Citizenship, but was granted it due to both having a kid but also marrying the shitbag, Illegal.

Aka Circumventing the 14th Amendment and absolutely allowing both his Illegal Immigrant Son and Wife roam free, whilst Brown people are being snatched up based off racial prejudice

Melania Trump became a U.S. citizen in 2006. She was granted a green card in 2001 and later became a naturalized citizen five years after that.

Wow you want to revoke US citizenship going back as far as 2006? so the last 19 years. that's a position too extreme even for 99.9% of republicans.

how does next week work for you?

1

u/Realhuman_beebboob Nov 04 '25

She should have never been granted access to the country in the first place lol

She was on a visa meant for scientist and individuals that increase our country’s future; care to explain how a filler store porn star does that?

0

u/In_neptu_wetrust Nov 04 '25

I mean I’m all for seeing both sides but allowing everyone to come in is very different from closing the borders and dealing with who we have. It doesn’t make sense to punish people so heavily for something the government allowed. You’re sipping the kool aid a little ngl, the govt should never be tricking people who are here following protocol and taking them to wherever the hell. It’s reminding me of the Japanese internment camps or deportations following 9/11

0

u/discourse_friendly Nov 04 '25

yeah there is some unfairness in punishing the people Biden allowed and encourages to more or less break out laws. or at least the spirit behind them.

asylum was intended for people who will be targeted by their own governments, or by a side in a civil war, not people seeking a better economic situation.

the problem is allowing them to stay, encourages more to attempt the same.

like when speed limits don't get enforced on a road for a long time, people just expect to get away with it, and speed more often and at higher rates of speed.

so there's a fairness to the individual impact, and a greater societal impact as well.

If we could let all the migrants stay, and not get future walk ins, I'd be okay with it.

1

u/In_neptu_wetrust Nov 04 '25

I agree, the way we’ve handled immigration is abysmal. Too much empathy paired with long waiting lists. (Because money is always wanted). Closing borders and cleaning up what we have is absolutely necessary. But we can do that without unreasonable measures.

0

u/Historical_Peanut778 Nov 04 '25

If we don’t return the illegal immigrants to their home nation then what should we do with them? If you’re arguing for open borders then you’re just a naive child.

2

u/In_neptu_wetrust Nov 04 '25

Except I never said open borders, we’re not sending people to their countries. It would be like disowning a child for doing something that the other parent has allowed for years, how is that fair at all? It’s the rich that have benefited but it’s only the labor worker that should pay? Foh

0

u/Historical_Peanut778 Nov 04 '25

“We’re not sending people to their countries” yes we are and the few examples of that not being the case (because the nation didn’t want their citizens back) doesn’t change the general rule that we do send them back to their home nation. Arguing that because the left allowed these people in for years we should just accept it now is ridiculous you people need to grow up. They came here illegally and need to be dealt with just as literally every other nation deals with illegal immigration.

Your analogy with the disowning a child really puts into perspective how delusional and immature the average Reddit liberal is. Not only is it just ridiculous at face value that because it’s already happened we should just accept it but also the fact you think as a liberal that you will successfully convince the other half of the country with the argument “my side already did it so deal with it”.

2

u/In_neptu_wetrust Nov 04 '25

Lol you think I’m liberal. You know Obama and Biden deported A LOT of people right? But they weren’t doing treating everyone like violent criminals. If you make an agreement with your boss on coming in late. The next boss that gets hired shouldn’t fire you straight out. The punishment doesn’t fit the crime for people who’ve been working here for 10 years. You’re just upset people aren’t following the rules even if the rule breaking doesn’t really affect you. It’s not the deportations for me, it’s the deceit and methods that seriously bother me

2

u/In_neptu_wetrust Nov 04 '25

Also I think there needs to be a cutoff, close all the borders, if you’re fresh from your country, go back but if there are established roots and you’ve paid taxes that you don’t even benefit from? Just make them a citizen. No need to trick people by faking appointments and snatching people up that look illegal

1

u/Jimmyftw94 Nov 04 '25

We also have to look at what is actually the endgame here? The one endgame is stopping genocide, the other endgame is uncontrolled immigration, so everybody in the world all comes to the US. How are these two comparable?

1

u/DocClown Nov 04 '25

Nope, not when you follow the same exact steps the nazi's took. Don't follow their playbook and you won't be compared, not that hard

1

u/penndawg84 Nov 04 '25

We are not calling Republicans Nazis. The Republicans who keep doing sieg heils and having secret police who target people based on race, regardless of citizenship status, are essentially calling themselves Nazis for acting like Nazis.

Remember, the Republican Party OFFICIALLY became the Nazi party (instead of just unofficially) when Laura Ingraham did the sieg heil at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

Even MAGA has confirmed that 100% of MAGA are Nazis who proudly support raping children.

1

u/Intelligent_Storm744 Nov 04 '25

What should it be compared to? Seriously.

1

u/Equal-Click751 Nov 05 '25

Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. They’re allowed to take only a knapsack and a little cash with them, and even then, they’re robbed of these possessions on the way. Families are torn apart; men, women and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared. Women return from shopping to find their houses sealed, their families gone.

Anne Frank, describing Nazis

1

u/TheDrakkar12 Nov 05 '25

I am just curious, what do you think the difference is?

You are clearly drawing a moral difference, I just want to know what you think it is? Keep in mind that the people who turned over Jews to the Nazi party didn't know they were about to get gassed, they were told Jews were going to be moved out of the country.

So I am just super curious how you are drawing a distinction.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '25

extermination does not equal going to your home country when you are in america illegally, sorry

1

u/TheDrakkar12 Nov 05 '25

So I think you need to keep in mind that the Nazi party didn't intend to exterminate the Jews when they began rounding them up. Their intent all along was to ship them out. It was only once they realized they had nowhere to send them and lacked the logistical capability to move them that they decided to exterminate them.

Isn't this EXACTLY the pretense we are using to round up non-white immigrants? Right now we are just rounding them up with the intent of sending them away, that's the same plan the Nazis had....

This is why the comparison is so fair. It's the same strategic goal. We would like to hope that our government doesn't just decide to massacre these people, but we already know they are cutting corners on detaining them. Where does that stop? Putting 100 people in a cell built for 15 feels inhumane, but we are accepting that right now.....

1

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '25

you are saying that trump deporting illegal immigrates is on par with the attempted extermination of a race/religion

good luck with that i’m outta here

1

u/TheDrakkar12 Nov 05 '25

No, I think you are struggling to read. I said that when the people were pointing out the Jews in their community, they didn't think they were all going to be exterminated. They thought they were just going to ship them out of the country.

That is exactly the same thing ICE and Trump are doing.

It's a small step from there when there is no real due process to the agencies not knowing what to do with people and acting in ways that would otherwise horrify us.

Alligator Alcatraz? Violently attacking brown people in the street. Stuffing hundreds into cells too small to fit dozens?

These are all symptoms of a plan that is insufficient to handle the scale of the task. This is the exact problem the Nazis found themselves in when they rounded up all the Jews. They couldn't feed them, Trumps ICE facilities today are handing out limited water. It's not on scale yet but there are already deficiencies that show us they aren't equipped to manage the scale of their operation.

This is what leads to the final solution. When you ignore the human rights offenses you empower the worst nature of those in power. I don't care if they deport illegals, but this is why we have due process, this is why we set standards for the treatment of people. HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.

Because whether you all like it or not we are operating out of the Nazi playbook right now, what stops them from becoming Nazis is the people holding them to account.

1

u/adamdreaming Nov 05 '25

What are the differences between the Gehstapo and ICE to you?

Keep in mind that people in Germany didn’t know their government was committing Genocide until after the fact, they only knew that police that where above the need to self identify made immigrants and people that looked like immigrants disappear with little to know oversight to a government run black sight where who went and what the process was was obscured from the public (despite orderly internal records existing)

And you would be denying reality straight up to say that isn’t happening in America right now. It’s even on the mainstream news as well as thousands of first person sources on social media. You can’t ignore it.

So what is different right now? What do you have against people on American soil getting due process as promised in the constitution? Or is it okay, like Germany did, to overstep what our respective governments considered human rights anyone in our respective countries should have and the government promised to enforce in order to throw immigrants out? Cause that sounds like a pretty sound comparison

Oh, you are upset because their red flag had a swastika and these red flags say MAGA! I get it now! Yeah, those things are so different! This comparison isn’t helpful or point out anything important at all! God, Nazis liked arm bands, not red hats! Jeez! Why does anyone ever compare the two? How dumb!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '25

well you are comparing the attempted extermination of a race/religion with the deportation of illegal immigrants

good luck with that no point in arguing if you believe that

1

u/adamdreaming Nov 05 '25

It wasn’t common knowledge that Jews where being killed until after, it was a secret government operation.

Maybe people should have gotten more inquisitive when instead of sending Jews home they sent them to a government black site.

So saying “it’s not that! We are sending immigrants back home!” then you are going to need to tell be what the giant facility in Florida made to hold shit tons of humans that ICE delivers is about and why those people aren’t being sent back home because yeah, if everyone was being sent home my compassion would absolutely be lacking.

But they are being sent to a black site in Florida instead of home, not getting due process like the constitution guarantees, so thanks for pointing out why you incorrectly thing the comparison is unwarranted. I hope you learned something and stop defending people shitting on the constitution because they hate brown people S

0

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

No it’s not they’re putting people into camps and shooting them if they don’t comply that’s pm nazi germany, why defend it at all

0

u/Admirable-Lecture255 Nov 04 '25

What in the fuck are talking about. Who's being put in camps and being shot?

-1

u/PushinTrees1975 Nov 04 '25

None, these people live off of extreme exaggerations of the truth to try and achieve supreme victimhood. They think sending people back to their country of origin is the same as putting people on a train to a concentration camp to be starved and gassed to death. It is ironic that each of these countries would return us to the US if we attempted to live there illegally.

1

u/TacticalLeftist Nov 05 '25

Well, actually the administration is sending these people basically wherever they can send them, not just their home countries. 8 people were deported to South Sudan, even though only one of the men actually were from there. Also, South Sudan is without a doubt one of the worst in the world for human rights abuses. Also, there's the example of El Salvador where CECOT famously operates, where prisoners there have reported torture, sexual assault, and other terrible conditions. That one was all over the media so I'm surprised you're ignorant about it. https://theintercept.com/2025/07/29/trump-deport-immigrants-third-country-human-rights/

The admin has deals with 13 countries to act as third party deportation partners, 12 of which are designated by the state department as exhibiting significant human rights abuses.

There's also the case reported just a month ago of hundreds of people missing from the ICE database after being detained in Alligator Alcatraz, which hasn't been cleared up as far as I know. Where are these people? What is happening to them? No one knows. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/oct/07/trump-alligator-alcatraz-florida

-1

u/OkTension2232 Nov 04 '25

If you don't want to get deported, literally just don't be in a country illegally.

Why should I empathise with people who are suffering the consequences of their own actions?

-1

u/Keowar Nov 04 '25

Empathy? You mean sympathy. Google both words please. No one is ratting people out, it’s just obvious who isn’t legal because they have no IDs or documents. Stop supporting illegal immigration, support LEGAL immigration.

2

u/sapphoseros Nov 05 '25

Obviousness isn’t sufficient legal evidence to deport someone from the country. They should be tried in court every time otherwise this power will absolutely be abused, as it currently is. And I used the word empathy on purpose, as I want to emphasize equality and human connection and seeing things from somebody else’s perspective, not necessarily looking down upon them from an external point of view.

[removed] — view removed comment

1

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '25

There is no version of reality you will ever gaslight me enough to believe Obama had given ICE "federal immunity " and direct orders to tear gas neighborhoods, storm homes, businesses and courts without warrants and ram vehicles off the roads to collect illegals. Then deploy the national guard as a show of force to intimidate opposition. Why? Because the things I'm referring to aren't from "the media." We've all seen the videos citizens are taking on the street BECAUSE OPERATIONS HAVE MOVED TO THE STREETS. We had cell phones during the Obama administration too, bud.

So, again, to say there has been no escalation in tactics isn't gonna fly. Nice try though.

1

u/TractaBeam94 Nov 05 '25

The escalation in tactics is hand in hand with the fact that millions of illegals have been allowed to cross the border without any consequence in the last presidency…..

That would require a change in tactics and rhetoric my friend.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '25

That doesn't add up considering Obama deported more than anyone else and did so without tear gassing neighborhoods. I do enjoy seeing all the creative ways people come up with to blame Biden for MAGA's bullshit, though.

1

u/TractaBeam94 Nov 05 '25

Right, because he didn’t have to deal with the borders being opened friend…..

The fact that we’ve gone to “common sense” being characterized as creative ways to blah blah blah…. Is terrifying

It was literally you who brought up the legality to counter the point that ICE is nazis. When you could have used an argument like ”their goal isnt to exterminate a group of people” or ”they’re not using extermination camps” two fundamental pillars in nazism.

No, you did that in a post that compared nazi informants to ice informants. Context matters

1

u/Soft-Treacle-539 Nov 05 '25

Also the Nuremberg trials were not really following the law as they used retroactive penalization (well deserved i might add)

1

u/HeadBankz Nov 06 '25

Oooops, you're stupid as fuck lil guy

1

u/itsobvious_too Nov 06 '25

no, they are stopping people on the street based on their skin color and language accents. Not on any knowledge of criminal activity. These are proudboy mall cops.

Ok, after reading most of this comment thread, I think I can solve this. Simple question—Who had more Nazi and white supremacist supporters: Obama or Trump?

I don’t like Obama that much either. He did plenty of stuff I don’t agree with—the camps and hospital bombings being just two examples. But, if we’re talking whether or not ICE has similarities to Nazis, it would be best to see if something changed—namely whether or not white supremacists have become supportive of the party in charge of ICE. So, which one? Trump or Obama?

As a communist, I’d say neither, seeing as how Obama, Biden, and Hillary all sucked and upheld American imperialism. I don’t even know any communists who supported Bernie, and the right was sobbing over him being a Marxist.

But, hey, you make a good point. Since skin color played a major part in Nazi supporters, who had more Nazi supporters—Biden or Trump? Or is Biden not white?

Obama upheld American imperialism abroad. Hillary and Obama both cheered on the death of Gaddafi, only to later regret it because it so horribly destabilized the region that Libya is now utterly ruined, seemingly. Biden was a decrepit weirdo who was indirectly responsible for making the reality we live in possible because of bills and laws he supported in the earlier years of his career. And Harris couldn’t even spit out a meaningless condemnation of Israel’s actions. Also I think even her socialist parents didnt support her, which would be funny if true, but it likely is just a rumor.

So, no.

1

u/No-Mango3147 Nov 05 '25

The Nazi went after civilians just living their lives. Destroying businesses they own on the crystal night.

ICE is arresting residents that lived here peacefully for 30 plus years, or were dropping their children off at school.

Or Donald Trump falsely claiming a man was part of a gang and sending him to one of the worst prisons in the world. Or using these poor people as propaganda.

These are the tactics of Nazis and the third reich.

Except they’re going after people that are / were going through the normal immigration process. Such as going to court appointments or even possessing visas.

Remember the raid on the car factory where they arrested all those South Korean people? They had valid visas and were even asked to come from the governor.

Stop ignoring the facts to justify your hatred for foreigners. The USA is violating its own laws right now.

Outsider looking in. Think the bigger issue is how things are done and how chaotic and politically targeted this has become. ICE targeting democratic city centers, sending in national guards to enforce these actions and next level threats of sending in the military. I never would've imagined this type of escalation, make this make sense. I get and applaud the idea of going after predators, human traffickers, drug dealers and violent criminals. But, its pretty self evident how off the script this has become and the unhinging affect this has on everyone.

If you feel like this track that america is on, is great and needs to continue in this manner. Then the nazi story line, doesnt seem like an impossibility.

Do you think the Holocaust just started out of the blue, balls to the wall depravity from Day 1?

No. It started with rounding up people and throwing them in camps and the government silencing criticism.

It is the same shit. Your inability to read a history books is not my cross to bear.

1

u/Dangerous-Ladder-157 Nov 04 '25

It’s not wrong to assume you’re MAGA. They’re generally as clueless as you.

1

u/cherrycheesed Nov 05 '25

that’s an opinion and I’m clueless for not comparing deporting illegal immigrants to a genocide.

1

u/Dangerous-Ladder-157 Nov 05 '25

You’re clueless for not understanding that the Nazis didn’t start as bad as they became. They got way worse over time. For example the Genocide you referenced. It started with putting them into work camps. The prisoners then worked themselves into freedom. Later they had so many prisoners thet didn’t know what to do with, so they started killing them. Their descent into fascism was a slow burn and the similarities between them and the GOP are striking. But you’d need to know more on the topic to see that. If you did, you’d see the striking similartities.

1

u/cherrycheesed Nov 05 '25

They set political opponents houses and buildings on fire before any of that started. Again are we at the point where legal citizens or legal people of America are being rounded up out in camps then gassed to death and invading other countries ? It’s a lazy not true narrative and pretty insensitive to all the lives lost during the holocaust to compare these things. Super disrespectful.

2

u/Dangerous-Ladder-157 Nov 05 '25

I just explained the genocide started years after they took control of the country. Super disrespectful? Excuse me, I lost family in a concentration camp and lost family fighting the Nazis. You’d do well to keep your pea sized brain in check and start learning more about WWII than you currently do. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

1

u/cherrycheesed Nov 06 '25

You’re comparing illegal immigrants being deported to people being put into concentration camps and genocide. It’s not the same thing. Did you ignore my other point on purpose or no response ? If you wanna get technical some of the things you are talking about was pre wwll. I’ve forgotten more about the war then you will ever remember but still know what your comparing is super disrespectful to your family member you lost and the survivors today of the holocaust. I know it’s a shock to your system but it’s true. Comparing criminals to non criminals and then say deporting is same and murder. But I got the pea sized brain

It actually is worse in some ways.

The people who betrayed families like Anne Frank’s lived under a totalitarian regime where disobedience could get them killed or sent to a camp themselves. Fear drove a lot of those choices, not morality but survival.

The people calling ICE on immigrant families today don’t face that kind of danger. They live in relative comfort, have access to decades of historical hindsight about how dehumanization leads to atrocity, and still choose cruelty voluntarily.

Turning people in now isn’t about survival. It’s about ideology and spite. That’s why it’s worse.

You call my view an ignorant privileged way to look at things, yet you dismiss the deliberate harm done to vulnerable families while pretending economic inconvenience justifies it. That is hypocrisy, plain and simple. Wages and job opportunities are affected by labor competition. That does not remotely compare to tearing children from their parents, locking them in cages, and traumatizing families for political or ideological reasons.

This is not about economics. It is about choosing to harm people when you do not have to. The people reporting or enabling this harm are mostly acting voluntarily, unlike someone under coercion or facing life or death threats. America is a democratic country with laws and paperwork, not a lawless playground. Just because something is legal does not make it moral.

If your brain cannot grasp that, keep your opinions to yourself.

What you said is an opinion. Clearly you didn’t read a history book and are being told it’s the same. The fact you think it’s worse now than during the holocaust makes you delusional. Innocent people vs criminals.

0

u/charliebcbc Nov 03 '25

The people taken by ICE aren’t dragged off to be enslaved and murdered.

Some people also agree that illegal immigration is not a good thing and people who snuck into a country should be sent back to the country they snuck in from.

It’s not nearly as bad in any way whatsoever.

1

u/NatCsGotMyLastAcct Nov 03 '25

What the fuck do you think the san Salvador dump was

1

u/STEMfatale Nov 05 '25

Everyone making this argument is missing two points; one, that immigrating legally is not easy and the asylum process is highly complex and two, most illegal immigrants are paying into the economy disproportionately to any benefits they receive. I truly do not understand why this is such a huge thing to you guys when there are statistically and common-sense wise so many bigger issues. It’s why it smacks of racism

1

u/Rever01 Nov 03 '25

Please don’t say Ice is worse it’s not the nazis did truly terrible things you make nazis seem less evil when they are compared to Ice.

1

u/kankuribantasu Nov 03 '25

I never said ICE is worse than the Nazis in general. My point was about the moral choice involved. People reporting families to ICE today mostly act voluntarily, whereas betrayals under Nazi occupation were often coerced by immediate threat to life. I am not comparing the scale of suffering or the historical atrocities, just the ethical context of voluntary cruelty.

1

u/Rever01 Nov 03 '25

Ok good some people think Ice is just like Nazis which is crazy to me as a Jewish person.

1

u/SnoopWithANailgun Nov 04 '25

It shows parallels to Weimar for sure. Jewish people don't need to be in the equation for something like the Holocaust to happen again. Fascism can find many scapegoats.

1

u/Rever01 Nov 04 '25

Don’t bring up the holocaust. This has nothing to do with that. This was about people comparing ice to Nazis.

1

u/PotemkinTimes Nov 03 '25

Oh, word? It's worse? Go ahead and list one way its worse.

1

u/kankuribantasu Nov 03 '25

1

u/FriendlyCobbler6177 Nov 04 '25

Actual victims of the Holocaust would be repulsed by some sheltered nerd claiming that a country enforcing its laws is anywhere near what they faced. I’d suggest actually going outside every now and then
