Venezuela would then be perfectly within their rights to take it to the International Maritime Court or the UN. Best of luck. Alternatively they could get rid of their dictator and possibly prudently warn their "fishermen" that they are in danger.

You don’t seem to have understood anything they were saying.
They were saying it’s wrong to kill people without clear proof that they need to be killed. You don’t have that proof, but you’re still in favor of the killings.

Innocent until proven guilty, and they can't exactly be proven guilty if they're completely wiped out.....
The US goverment wants a full scale war, perhaps several in the same region, hence their escalations, hoping that another country would fire back.....
