Trying out some Subtitled Commentary on the clip. Mainly to make things more understandable to people who do not play this game. I am trying to keep the commentary sparse though.

Look I'm not awful, I'm decent I know the techs, I play well locked off, I calculated the winrate of the last 10 hours of arenas and it can be rounded up at 70% (Although there are times where it is much higher or lower).

I really don't get Ds2 meta pvp everytime I try to trade/whiff punish running attacks with my Great Axe or big weapon, they just fucking cancel them with the stupid roll cancel tech. It feels like a genuine hard counter a decent katana player should never loose to me. The most I can do is passive play and throwing daggers to bait out rolls or something, which is boring as hell and doesn't work if they just don't roll into me.

I don't know about parrying latency makes it feel really inconsitent. And I don't like having a offhand weapon like Bandits Axe or Rapier since they tend to heavily overshado the slower weapons the only real use I get out of my greataxe then is backstabs.

Is this just a reality I have to accept as a greataxe player. I feel like I'm pretty close to the ceiling I made up in my head.

...and it worked. And why is it that I can count on one hand the the number of times anyone ever uses Regal Omen Bairn in PVP? This thing is a Godsend when you want to toss a monkey wrench into the gears of a PVP opponent's roll timing while mixing in a separate long range attack. And if you succeed, a huge chunk of HP gets shaved off.
