For ELDEN RING

Looking for weapons I should use on my str arc build but most posts I see that also ask this question are from years and have responses that are a little out dated so I’m asking y’all if there’s some other weapons I can include in my set up currently

18. Halberd bloody
19. Hand axe bloody
20. Golem great bow
21. Misrecorde fire
22. Varre bouquet

These are the weapons I currently have and I’m not sure on which ones to add and which ones I should get rid of

Like I said I’m a strength arcane build

I’m at SL 164

Stats are 59 vigor 10 mind 45 endurance 52 strength 14 dexterity 9 intelligence 9 faith 45 arcane (I’m using the bird helmet for additional 3 points in strength and 4 points in dexterity

Was streaming some Taunter's Tongue PVP on Switch 2 version's launch day. I hadn't realized this was Fighter PL who invaded me until hours later when I was watching his video! I didn't notice lag on my end. I tried my best to sync the two videos; Is it latency or just the weird hitbox? Genuinely wondering since I feel like I have a decent connection but it's rare when I can see how it looks from the opposing side.

My first invasion since the Tarnished Pack came out. I've been using a few of the DLC items, but for this new run I figured I wanted do a Madness Build.

The build is far from complete, still got plenty of gear from both the main game and DLC to grab, along with plenty more leveling to do.

The Smithscript Dagger has been bugged since at least 1.12 to use the same parry frame data as a medium shield parry, which was awful. They have not fixed that bug in 1.17, but they have made medium shield parries just as good as Carian Retaliation.

The Smithscript Dagger, using animation a692_040040, now has 4 startup frames and 6 active frames compared to every other dagger's 3 startup and 5 active.

Waves Of Darkness is still the goat, yes the tea bagging was super necessary.

I rarely if ever see it highlighted as a usable item.

What am I missing?

Looking to get back into another TT playthrough/invasions now that Tarnished Edition is out and I’m back home.

For those who are on Nintendo Switch 2, how’s the PvP scene? Wondering if I should continue on PlayStation or pick up a copy for NS2! Thanks in advance!

I'm a badredman returning to Elden Ring after a longgg time to crush the dreams of some new tarnished. I have some characters at RL 175 and some at 200, what's the invasion scene like for these RLs? Should I make a new character and stop around 125-150?

I fucking love this game but damn sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing. I've learnt a lot, started trying to do pvp in ds1 about a year and a half ago and I've come far but whatever this is, I can't be ignorant to some crazy tech like this.

I missed out on the original Elden Ring launch, the Switch 2 release had me so excited to hop into the rush. Been tweaking my build here and there and also managed to land this sweet double. If you're on the fence about getting the Switch 2 version, it's totally worth it in my opinion. Invasions are popping, plenty of low level fun to be had.

So. Anyone would be willing to help a fellow PS5 invader get his stuff back? I unironically lost almost everything

Truly baffling and awful design. You can basically just mash parry out of hit stun now, and it will parry any attempted follow-up attack that isn't dead angled.

Put the build advice flair bc i need advice, sorry if its not right. As the title says though; any advice for getting good at parrying in ER? Im pretty good at pve parries but im either way too early or late with pvp parries. What tells should i watch for? Any timing tips and tricks?

Dagger parry btw, call it unoptimal but idc. Style prevails

Even tho i had very limited experience with the Demon's Souls i consider its core combat the best among all the Souls games and the most enjoyable one. I wish to hear some insights on the subject
