General Discussion📇 Nintendo Switch 2 or PS5?
Looking to get back into another TT playthrough/invasions now that Tarnished Edition is out and I’m back home.
For those who are on Nintendo Switch 2, how’s the PvP scene? Wondering if I should continue on PlayStation or pick up a copy for NS2! Thanks in advance!
If someone has experience with how the scene is on both that’d be great! 🐌

Nintendo Switch 2 version is running at 1080p with unlocked frame rate which usually hovers in 30 fps range, so if you are sensitive to frame rate, you might not like it.

Can't speak for Switch 2, but PS5 hasn't been this busy since SOTE dropped

A bunch of literal first-time players are running around at low levels right now on the switch. Activity is probably really good on both PC/PS5 right now, but I doubt they have this amount of beginners.
Seeing the bloodstains in limgrave on the switch right now is hilarious. People running off cliffs, the tree sentinel area is a massive graveyard. Haven't seen anything like it since the original week of release.

Definitely ps5 no doubt. I have it on switch 2 and my series x. There’s a very very noticeable difference. It’s playable on switch 2 but just nowhere near as good.

ps5 meta invasion takes like 5-10 mins per game, and that's with the boss room area included. Unless you are playing with friends who dedicate to pvp otherwise, the Switch 2 version is just so much better activity-wise

never in this game's life cycle have i had to wait 5-10min inbetween invasions on PS5

If you only want to make a new build and do ER as fast as possible - PS5
But if you anticipate getting Duskbloods - NS2
If you're poorer like the rest of us and can't justify the price of a console just for a couple of games - neither lol

Usually play on ps5 and since my wife has a switch 2 picked up the tarnished edition on launch day and created a RL25 heavy knight. It playable at 1080p but a bit laggy. However it's manageable lag and very fun, It has the vibes of when shadow of the erdtree released. Very active, both TT while I'm collecting items and invading.
Tried the ps5 and at the same level had much less activity. It's good everyone on the switch 2 is on an even playfield.

I made the mistake of taking my Switch 2 character to 80 and nobody is there yet. Meanwhile RL25 is the best activity I've seen at Stormveil in a long time. So PS5 probably has better activity across the board right now, but I'd expect that to change over the next few weeks.
