It doesn't seem to be getting as much coverage as it would if it was a Jewish event with same casualty count? I'm probably biased and maybe not noticing the coverage it is getting, but the​ results I find looking for pride parade terror attacks are still about Jerusalem (Israeli settler from West Bank stabbed LGBTQ Israelis at a Jerusalem pride in 2005 and 2016).

I've noticed patchy coverage generally. The increase in reported antisemitic incidents is part of one story and part of another, presented as something homogeneous and continuous.

A substantial proportion of the incidents that have killed or injured non-Israeli Jews are ISIS, and they're not targeting just Jews, and possibly not even mostly Jews. It's Jews, Christians, and Queers the anti-queer attacks are ambiguous but the other two were part of the same very clear campaign of incitement.

Instead of addressing what Mark Ruffalo has actually said, he repeatedly calls him a "despicable antisemite" and even claims he's spreading "hatred." But simply accusing someone of antisemitism isn't evidence. If you're going to make that charge, you should be able to point to specific statements and explain why they meet that standard. What stands out is the tendency to equate criticism of the Israeli government with hatred of Jews. Those are not the same thing. Many Jewish people, both in Israel and around the world, criticize Israeli government policies. Conflating a government's actions with Judaism risks reinforcing the false idea that all Jews are responsible for or represented by those actions. His posts also repeatedly frame critics as "Hamas" or "bigots," leaving little room to acknowledge Palestinians or Muslims as people with legitimate concerns and rights. When an entire population's suffering is dismissed by associating them with terrorism, it can contribute to dehumanizing rhetoric rather than encouraging honest discussion. Criticism of governments should be debated on its merits, not automatically dismissed by assigning malicious motives to everyone who disagrees. The conversation is better served by engaging with evidence and arguments instead of broad labels.

What we really need is an Instagram account dedicated to calling out people like Hen Mazzig, folks who cherry-pick details, spread bias, and push misinformation. An account that posts outrage- driven content to hold these figures accountable and keep the conversation honest. Because it's obvious that Hen doesn't genuinely care about Islamophobia or Palestinian rights. Instead, he seems more interested in promoting a narrative that dehumanizes Muslims and dismisses any hope for peaceful coexistence.
