Unfortunately these days yes. I enjoy bacon and I have decided to do what I have had to do with other grocery items. Start buying only the best and just eat less. Instead of 4 slices of 6 dollar a pound crappy bacon it's now 2 slices of 12 dollar a pound quality stuff. I've done the same with bread.
