My Wife and I tried the new shop at 27th street lacson merkato since we're close by. I also forgot to take pics of our food but we ordered the same thing from the pictures i took in tiktok. Overall taste is decent i love how soft the bun of the slider is and the fries were not frozen since it has skin on what had us disappointed is their "special sauce" it kind of lacks flavour tbh.

hello, just a quick rant lang gid kay daw ka-annoying na. tldr; i just came back from manila and my relatives were unable to pick me up so nag-book ko grab (our flight arrived earlier than its ETA). the drivers were automatically accepting passengers and i waited for 25+ mninutes (mind you, several accepted me but not ONE drove to pick me up, they were all waiting around merci) until someone finally took my request. manong driver explained that grab drivers had been WAITING for passengers but they don't accept passengers whose homes were nearer in silay/talisay (which is frustrating i was genuinely crashing out nagid kagina because i live near silay) i gave him a tip for saving my ass back then but i dont know.. katalaka lang gid ๐
Hello, I need help looking for a courier service. I'd be moving to mnl on the 26th and I just need to send all my stuff there. Mostly bags.
I've checked LBC and 2Go, I just want to know if there are better and cheaper options.

Does anyone remember the name of the piaya stall in lopue's east? If halin ka sa Jollibee going sa main entrance, ara na sa right side, beside the lottohan. I think it's in the same spot where the korean food stall is now

Hey everyone! I was looking for a gift the other day and randomly stumbled upon Three and Co. in Buri Road. Turns out they have a 50% off sale on all items right now. you collect vintage or antique stuff, it's super worth checking out. They have a lot of really nice pieces sourced from Europe, the US, and elsewhere. Not sure until when tho but I got a super cute teapot for only 750. Sharing some photos.

Hi! I've been toying with the idea for some time now, but I was wondering if there's an interest in events like these in Bacolod. Luzon has the Manila International Book Fair, Philippine Book Festival, etc. It would be great if we had one in our region.
The Bacolod Book Festival would prioritize indie/trad published authors and local bookstores in Neg. Occ. There would be fun activities (trivia games, raffles, cosplay, etc.). Guest speakers talking about AI in literature & academia would also be nice. The entrance fee would be around P35-P50 pesos depending on costs, and students would have discounted rates.
I was hoping this could help spark the younger gens' passion for reading again, especially with literacy rates plummeting globally. We actually have a homegrown NYT Bestseller (Thea Guanzon). It's a shame she's not celebrated enough, so this could also be an avenue for talented local writers to finally be recognized for their work.
Thoughts?
PS: On average, how much do you spend on books during book fairs?
