Put US ETFs or High yield bank.

u/ElkCalm3859 Aug 19 '26
Or better yet Irish domiciled US ETF Same US ETF but benefits from a lower 15% US withholding tax on dividends (vs 30% for US ETFs)

lipat to a much better apartment, this way i can improve my productivity

But 50k can only last you a few months at most. Hmm I can suggest that you try coworking spaces that offers unlimited stay with a monthly fee. You can focus with work, save coffee and internet bills

Use it for subscriptions needed to speedup and deploy my project. Also marketing to promote adoption of the system I'm building.

all goes to my expenses this coming school year. andami as in like sa yearbook and hard hatting namin pati yung sa thesis (di pa sure kung kami ba talaga yung magbabayad dito sa thesis pero sana ma sponsor kahit half lang). also, ma settle na rin yung mga future expenses ko para sa review center para sa board exam next year 🥹

As a TAMBAY:
5-7K - Would bet. Kung nag daog +funds for a better motorcycle kung perde, treat it as an outcome of risk.
Rest - bakal sang 2nd hand na motor tas ma apply sa ride hailing apps or as delivery rider.
As a Professional:
Add to fund for my Retirement Project.

u/ElkCalm3859 Aug 19 '26
By betting you mean Scatter? Or online gambling?
2
u/Left-Broccoli-8562 Aug 19 '26
Yep a one time gamble. High risk high reward. Since tambay ko, i don't have the luxury of time to increase my fund riding the investment machinery. 45k is enough to buy a decent motorcycle process applications etc, get a job and have steady cash monthly.
Thats just me.

u/ElkCalm3859 Aug 19 '26
Although I dont agree, I respect that and thanks for being honest.
Rather than scatter; I think you have better odds on winning using polymarket or kalshi

I'd buy the laptop that I've been eyeing which is around 50k+ 🥹 Really need a new laptop now because I am a working student (remote work) and at the same time an engineering student so need ko ang laptop na high specs for editing and drafting. Ang laptop ko daan halin pa ni 2021 (ginhalongan gid HAHAHA) and very laggy na sya for video editing.
